Hi there. I live in the northeast usa. I started sone seeds in my grow tent with intention to put them outside right about now. Beginning of June. The seeds in the tent were set on 16 hours of light because June first we will have 16 hours of light outside and I wanted to daylight time change. These sprouts look like they are bolting tall and have hairs on them. Really at 16 hours? They have been on 16 hours with no power outages or changes since germinated. Any thoughts?
What are the seeds? Purchased or bagseeds?

Hairs are a good sign of a female plant. But not necessary signs of flowering.
You’ll see a clustering of growth at each node including the tops of your plants. Within the clusters you’ll also see lots of hairs.
If you just have single hairs at the nodes it’s just a sign of a female with good geneticist.
On the other hand if you are seeing a clustering of growth with lots of hairs within and you’ve been on 16 on and 8 off light schedule your probably growing some Auto flowering genetics.
These are purchased from ilgm. Zskettls and something gold. The zskettles has hairs and a recent shoot up tall.
