Do I need to flush after using sledgehammet
If you haven’t done so yet, it might be a good idea of looking for some reviews on using Sledgehammere. See what there experiences were.
Company say you dont but a lot of growers do.
So you can go either way. Those that do say if they dont they see issues, but since the company says its not necessary even if you decide to flush you dont need to use 100 gallons. If you flush it just do a basic watering with some run off.
@K-88 Fox Farm said the following about Sledgehammer and this is straight from them.
“ To perform a flush with the Sledgehammer product, you will want to prepare the mixture at a rate of 2 tsp per gallon of water. You will use the Sledgehammer standalone. Pour the solution over the soil and use about twice as much solution to flush as you would if you were normally watering or feeding. For example, if on a normal watering you use a half gallon, for a flush you would use a whole gallon. Once this is done, let the soil dry completely. After that you can pick up with the next feeding as scheduled.
If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact us. To learn more about our company, new products, and download our latest feeding schedules please visit www.FoxFarm.com.”
So you have it as well @Spiney_norman.
its what’s i did, make it like a normal feeding and ladies did fine
It came up before and I posted that same info.
But there are some who still said they flushed because it caused issues.
I dont know if it does of they just had other problems.
But thanks!
I never had an issue and I have used SH a few times. Its why I wrote FF due to all the conflicting information from other growers. So I took the question straight to the horse’s mouth.
They may had problems before flushing. I don’t
know and I can only speak about my experience.
Me too. The company description is the way to go. If it caused problems they wouldn’t post it. That is a great way to destroy your business. There will always be someone who disagrees with things.
I use it exactly as @MrPeat references. Works perfectly. And I follow the schedule as to when.
i never make it to the for 1st sledge hammer dose after seedling and then transplant with new soil so no nutes are added but the rest im on point with and never had an issue but this grow its Jacks 321
