If your horse manure is 3 years old, it may be washed out if its been outside.

If it’s in a compost pile it’s probably fine. I rake up the areas of our horse pastures which are heavy with poop and till it in the garden.

Horse and rabbit poop are fairly mild and can be used fresh. Just till it in while prepping the soil. Chicken poop is pretty hot and should be composted or cured.

What has worked really well for me, horse and rabbit poop, mixed with some soil dug out of an old rotted burn pile, amended with a little HF. (the soil from the burn pile helps balance the rich manure)
