I’ve always heard clear containers hare horrible for the roots because light hits them. Be interesting to see how it goes.

And light feeds algae so it will grow uncontrolled too.
Need to get them into grow bags soon.
The little expense of proper bags will save the loss of a great potential harvest.
Ouch…I thought of that but I thought algae couldn’t grow on coco? I will black them out somehow. Should I cover the holes I drilled?

You might look into something called rain science grow bags. I have had great success with mine. A little higher, but easy to clean and reuse.
