Tylers Just Desserts Grow - Black Cherry, Gelato and Cookies!

Need to check run off in the 2x4 - all those girls are yellowing.
Stretch is over and they’re bulking up some now. If I can get them straight I might experiment with Emerson for a week or two and see what it do!.
Need to thin them out.
Might just do a plain rainwater mini flush and then switch back to standard Jacks mix. They really look more hungry than anything to me but hopefully the numbers will tell the tale.

Thunderdome looking good and will have her first 13/11 day tomorrow.
Those girls are smelling pretty dank and the laundry room smells great!

Took these Dark Phoenix cuts 2 or 3 weeks agoo - I don’t remember - and just stuck them in a cup with some of the Azos tea and just kept refilling with whatever mix I was giving that wasn’t loaded with microbes since then.
These kinda look like the starts of some roots and I’m tired of messing with this cup - it is nasty!
Oh yeah - no protocols at all on this experiment in cloning. They’ve been in the same cup since day 1 and it’s never been cleaned out or anything. It’s kinda slimy at the bottom in fact! LOL!
At any rate I decided to put them into cups in some ME C/P and water them in with Jack and 'crobes.
Haven’t cut the first leaf although I did cut 2 lower shoots when I cupped them. I figure if they eat off the leaves it might help support them until they root. These are still some nice, branchy cuts. They’ll make spectacular plants if they survive the process…

That’s my little Ethos auto. She does not like that cactus soil. I’m tempted to attempt a transplant but she’s looking pretty good today, so maybe she’s catching hold.
I did water her very well in the proper range, so hopefully that helped.
The XXX and CrescendO X GPS are still in cups but spent the last 2 days outside.
I’ll be prepping their pots this weekend and dropping them in.

Wish I had some pics - but I don’t.

happy Growing Everyone!!!

I wasn’t able to watch my roots develop in my clones since they were in starter cubes lol, so 8 have no idea what the start of roots looks like lol

I’ve got to get these new buckets in this tent sometime this weekend.

They start out as little white bumps but I didn’t want to touch them - my one protocol LOL - for fear of f’n them up. They’re definitely turning towards the light after going into the cups, so there’s plenty of life left it seems. Whats the worst that could happen?
I dump the dirt back into the bag or another pot in a few weeks and toss a fried stem?
I can live with that! LOL!
Not gonna keep them anyway, a buddy wants to grow but he’s in a townhouse with a roommate and has no space for a grow indoors or out, but he is near the city’s bike trail system which is actually a pretty good spot for a guerilla grow. The main trail runs along a nice wide creek and has many tributaries along the way. Most people don’t wander too far from the trail, although it was a popular area for geocaching years ago. It’s pretty forested But lots of dead falls through the years have left some nice openings in the canopy. We’re gonna take them down there one afternoon and find some spots. There’s utility easements through there so I know all kinds of discrete entry points for stealth. Plus the fringes of a couple of those easements might prove promising.

Green Gelato -

Black Cherry Punch -

Ethos Cookies R3 -

Their color is for shit!
Not thinking it’s lockout but can there be an excess of 'crobes?
I’m starting to think Jacks isn’t supplying enough nitrogen for the growth rate I’m getting. 22 days ago, at the flip, they were a little pale, but much greener and they took off growing vigorously. With the adjustment for the MKP I’m just not sure they were getting enough N and are just eating themselves to death.
I’ll figure it out soon enough. I’m going back to regular mix and dropping MKP and 'crobes next feed and I’ll be testing the run off.
Them buckets are looking better and better man! Your plants look so nice and green compared to mine. Had to believe they’re genetically identical!

Gonna try to get some cleaning done tonight so theres less places to feed and I can concentrate on the better tips.

The Hungry Blimp Shot -

The red on the Cookies is odd too. Neither of the others have it and the BCP is supposed to be prone to red coloring!
Not too worried - got plenty more on deck. And soon out on the deck!
OH - I’ll get you a snap of the GSCE today. She wants to flower but keeps growing too much! LOL!
Just letting her go natural and she’s over 2ft I’d say!
She’s looking great but no smell yet!

Get them buckets together brother!!

HGE!!!

I don’t think so. I think it’s just phenotype expression. I have a plant that’s doing that to me right now too but is otherwise entirely healthy. Been that way more or less since flower began.

They don’t share a lineage or otherwise i would probably agree. The Gelato and Black Cherry are from 2 different companies and don’t share any parents. There might be something further back in their history, but what are the chances that same trait would be prominent?
I might be inclined to think the Photosynthesis Plus is having an effect on them through it’s claim of speeding photosynthesis…again pointing to underfeeding.
I’m gonna calibrate my meter and make sure all is well on that end also.
Light burn is also a possibility. I dialed it back a click and am still well in range, although the last time I clicked it up was when I raised it.
The tops are looking greener than they were before the last feeding.
They both have a fair amount of root tips at the bottom of the bag.

The Cookies is a problem all her own. I’m not sure that bean has been right from the drop!

Yeah I think Cookie is the one who has the phenotype expression with those bright reddish/purplish leaves. The other two are probably just hungry. :joy:

I have red stems on my Tangie OGs. The Tangie dosidos cross last summer never showed that. Now I have to look up the strain’s genealogy.

Damn those girls are looking good man. I think you are over stressing. Check ppm and than tweak with the jacks formula jf you havent thoufht a out that. The ethos got a nice color

Some looks like pheno coloring. Some of it makes me think they need some Nitrogen…

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking too.
Maybe I should hit them with some Fox Farm!

I’m seriously thinking all the 'crobes have stimulated the plants so much they’ve just eaten everything they had available.
They should be dry enough to water them tomorrow so I’ll be giving them a boost and see what happens from there.
I will be checking run off.
I also discovered that I should be adding molasses BEFORE Ph-ing the mix as it will drop it by a point or more. So that adjustment will be made also.
I’ll also be calibrating the Apera before I do anything.

I didn’t get a chance yesterday to do some cleaning up so that’ll help too since they’ll have less to worry about feeding.

Man u doing a fantastic job just dont stress it 4 real. U got this

I’m thinking about just running Jacks full mix and adding MKP to that. I’m already getting some yellowing in the Thunderdome and I wanna try to head it off at the pass.
I think it’s because of their Hunger because it’s the larger gurls out there showing the yellow.

Jacks says their reseach indicates the plants still need N during flower which is why the say to run the mix in all phases.

Yep. They just need a bit less than they did during veg. I think that’s where the adjusted ratios came from, but if you’re seeing more and more, going back to 3.6/2.4/1.5 wouldn’t be bad (I like to do 1.5 Epsom in flower, otherwise my ladies just burn through all the mag I give them)

I say do it keep it simple man. Lower your Photosynthesis + ml if u could also. I still use mkp with tps one

Well I’ll be honest - I feel like these desserts have gotten away from me.
Between bring in the 4x4 and the impromptu move to my niece’s and back and the delay there I feel like they’ve been going forever! And they have - since the start of the year, in fact!
i think I’ll get some decent buds from the Gelato and the Black Cherry Punch but I’m just not sure on the Cookies. She just hasn’t been a stellar example of a pot plant through the entire grow.
i feel like I can definitely do better on them with a second run and by devoting more time to them.
They’ll come back around in the rotation in a few years! LOL!

After extensive reading and study I’ve determined my Ph in the root zone is out of whack and is pretty low based solely on the symptoms I’m seeing. They were fed at sunrise, um 11am, sunrise to them at least, with Jacks at the regular dose and I added about half a dose of MKP. No microbes though I did include 3tbsp of mole asses too give them a good feeding. Aside from Mammoth P I’m not sure if I’ll use much, if any more on this grow. If they haven’t established colonies they can replenish themselves by now then they aren’t gonna. I Ph’d high at 6.85 and read PPMs above 2k on the Apera…which I think is the 700 scale. I can never remember…
Ooh! Check it - Last night I measured out my Jacks and got it all lined up for this morning and then checked and calibrated the Apera. When checking on the Ph 7.0 solution I was reading a flat 7.20. That’s a pretty significant amount. Decided to check the banana yellow $20 cheapie…6.98…
Things that make you go Hmmmm…
Obviously I went ahead and did a fresh 3 point calibration and refilled the cap with fresh storage solution.
I have confidence in my pen once again and will be checking it more often going forward.
Each received a soild gallon and gave back probably 10% in run off. I was pushed for time and was unable to check the numbers but I’m pretty confident I’m on the right track with them. time will tell.

Buds are still stacking and after tonights defol they’ll be able to send more juice to the good parts.
At least they look a lot less yellow now!

The Jungle -

Royal Queen Green Gelato -

Pyramid Black Cherry Punch -

Ethos Cookies R3 -

Was totally running out of time - the Deep Red had come on - the 10 minute warning! LOL!

No bud needs that damn much stem under it! UGG! I can only say I’m glad these girls are finally in flower! LOL!
There’s a few more leaves I need to trim out of there but the canopy is a lot more open now. I probable left a few mid height buds that may or may not do anything so I’ll be keeping my eye on those too.
Gonna be watching closely for the next few days and see what the response to the feed is and play it from there.

Happy Growing Everyone!!!

You have interesting titles in your library.

yeah - that’s the astrology, magick and religion section. I need to get some time to keep sorting through them. A lot of stuff got mixed up in the moves a few years back. I see a Houdini book and an archeology book that belong elsewhere just looking at the picture. LOL!
The woman is/was an astrologer and owned a private circulation magazine for a while.
She use to make her own candles and incense and all kinds of voodoo. LOL!
I always enjoyed Aleister Crowley and The Golden Dawn stuff - I like the ritual of it.
But my all time favorite is Carlos Castaneda. That’s a program I can get behind! LOL!
Those early Castaneda books are awesome!!
I went through a phase on studying beliefs years ago.
I kinda just made up my own system much like the Jedi. LOL!
Which, btw, Lucas says some of that came from Castaneda’s writings.

We have a library also. Mostly classics and history.

I’ve almost made it though Shakespeare. Most of the old classics like Little Women. Hated Moby Dick and the Martian Chronicles.

I enjoy the Bradbury stuff, but I’m a fan of science fiction too. Interestingly enough I don’t care for Dune. Somebody trying really hard to be the Tolkien of sci fi in my opinion!
Sadly it’s much more boring than the Ring or Hobbit stories. I really wanted to like it but it’s just not great…to me at least. Apparently people like it - they keep dumping money on it in Hollywood trying to get something out of it but it’s just boring. LOL!
On Bradbury, did you ever read The Screwtape Letters? It’s his “correspondence” with a demon…it’s kinda cool too but not his best known work.
I like biographies - of people who interest me at least, and I really enjoy I guess anthropology type books.
I like to read about the crazy shit ancient civilizations believed, why they believed them and ultimately why people persist in believing them.
I wish I could take a couple hours every day and just read - but unfortunately there’s little to no time in todays world for it.

I believe that would be C.S, Lewis … :v: :sunglasses:
