Is it possible to clone it with no clonex? She’s such a nice one would be fun to see what it does lol I was just trying to get even colas and shorten a bit since it’s taller than the others… thanks for the info again and love the Farley pic!!
Looks good to me… but what do I know lol… I like how you used the nub creative!! I’ll wait to see what they say as this seems it might depend on if it can handle it or not… being autos I’m not sure as much anyway
If you have some aloes, that works really well too
And some grower even leave the clones in a glass of water until it forms enough root…
Try it any way you want, it’s free!
I wouldn’t worry about that branch you can’t see… it will find it’s way to the lights…
Lol exactly my thoughts a free experiment!! Thanks again for your very helpful knowledge!!
@Twelve1 see Cap got you all set… I guess the plants are smarter than us well atleast me haha
Still not much LST to do with Marie. Looks like she’s succeeded in standing more upright, but whenever I see if could/should adjust her, she seems way too stiff. From my limited knowledge and experience, it seems like this little shorty wants to be left alone, which I respect, especially that she might be prone to stress or something based on her lack of vigor and wonky early leaves. As her branches grow, I’ll spread them out. Any input?:
I found Jedi’s “missing” branch this morning, so I gently moved it to. My thumb is pointing towards it, while my index finger is pointing to its pair:
The biggest branch is pointing in a direction I want it to go, so I let that be, for now.
Jedi’s LST this morning, on the main branch/top. Yeah, another pipe cleaner, but they are thin so as to avoid damaging new growth (reminds me to get the thinner garden wire, duh, LOL). I’ll replace it with garden wire as soon as I can:
So far; I’ve been able to start having her circle the pot:
Question: When planting seeds/seedlings, is it a good idea to plant them off-center so that there is ample room to LST so that plants are more balanced in/around the pot?
Thanks, all!
It depends what you want to achieve. You can save a lot of space by planting it on the side of the pot, and then supercrop her towards the center if your pot. That way most of the plant stays within the pot’s perimeter and you can have more pots side by side…
Thanks. Is it OK to supercrop autos?
I can’t really say…
I do, but I’m crazy that way… @Not2SureYet or @GreenJewels might have an answer.
Everything is looking great! Plants are nice and healthy looking, even your one that’s behind.
I got annoyed at the wire and went back to my butcher’s string. The wire is good for ground anchors but just isn’t working for me otherwise.
I didn’t LST the two big girls until they were a little bit older - and rigid stem is a thing! That’s why I started earlier this time. My wounded branch did heal completely, I finally took the bandage off and she’s got a nice scar there. Branch is growing great.
Thanks! Glad to hear that the wounded branch healed!
I trust that you are sans calcium dust by now.
I have dealt with the massive dust storm. It was ALMOST comical.
Filter is working at 100% again. I have de-calcified myself.
I have it hanging to suck out hot air from the top of the tent. I had it on the floor in the Lucy tent but that was so much shorter it didn’t matter as much.
Yeah looked like that but with my head. Terrifying.
I’ve had good results with super cropping an OG Kush auto. But I had to because it was too tall. She was a challenge. I was growing in a bubble bucket back then and she developed a root slime.
Your girls are looking great! I love the LST u got going. I’m gonna do the offset planting & LST, too as soon as mine r big enough. Keep up the great work!
Thanks, @JAQ ! If you have a grow journal, please tag me.
Today, I gently tied one of the side branches (wooo hooo, my side branch tie- down!) with a dreaded but easy-to-work-with pipe cleaner, as seen on the left side in the below pic.
Also in the pic, is my hand holding up a fan a big leaf (attached to the main stalk) that is blocking lights of light. I know I’ve asked this type of question before, but would this leaf be OK to cut off? She is getting more foliage, so she should have more/enough leaves to do her thing?
(FYI: No, I have neither hepatitis nor a yellow light. )
