Trying to plant Clones outside

I’m new here trying to find an answer to My issue. I live in Eastern Oregon. I have had successful outdoor grows for the last several years. I buy clones and shortly after, I plant them in soil outdoors. I have never had a problem. This year I buy clones from the same place as usual. The clones start flowering shortly after they get on an outdoor light cycle. I am told the clones have been on a 24 hour light schedule. How do I get them outside without flowering right away?

The day length in eastern OR is ~15.5 hours, which is sufficient to keep a plant in veg. Are the clones from autos? A photo plant shouldn’t be flowering with a daylength > 15 hours.

I don’t know about that. I was told at two dispensaries and the supplier that they were kept under lights for 24 hours. They were just regular lights now grow lights. They said if I started them outdoors with normal darkness hours they would start flowering, like they did. Thanks for replying, any suggestions will be appreciated.

Either the clones were taken too late (meaning that the mother plant was very close to flowering) or they are autos and not photos.

You can try and re-veg by putting them back inside under either 24/0 or 18/6 and see what happens, or just let them do what they are doing

I wonder if the sudden change from 24 hours to 15 hours was enough to trigger flowering.
Like going from 18 to 12 does.
Perhaps next time go from 24 to 18 for two weeks then set outside.
I am just spitballin here and have no clue really.

I have been bringing them in around Sunset and putting them in my bathroom with the brightest light, so I have them under 24 hours of light.

I’m getting them as close to 24 hours as I can. I hope I can get them back to Veg.
Thanks

Got any pics?

Can if plants are mature, and most plants capable of producing several clones are typically mature.

In the reply box, top center is a landscape photo, click it and go from there.
Make sure the pic fully uploads before doing the next one.
Make sure they all finish uploading before you hit reply :+1:t2::green_heart::metal:t2:
