I just lost a whole plant and part of another one because of bud rot! So disappointing! It seems to have happened over two nights! I see a lot of cloudy trichomes so maybe It wont be so bad. UGH!!!
So very sorry to hear that, hope you find a way to stop it before next harvest.
In 10 years I’ve had bud rot twice. Once indoors and once in a hoop house. This year … 3 outdoor plants have had a little bud rot each. So, I feel your pain.
sorry to hear this, maybe you can salvage some buds @Zacchara
have you checked out jorge’s video on cleaning buds?
I noticed one plant developing mildew on leaves yesterday and jumped on it hard. Peroxide and water spray, removed a bunch of leaves, close visual of the other plants shows nothing.
Has anyone has bud rot indoors?
It’s been in 4 different plants now for me. I’m growing more extensively outdoors than ever but I never had bud rot outdoors except once in a hoop house.
I fear that reaper…
On my 2 plant harvest I had one bud out of 70 that had bud rot. This was an indoor grow and flowering humidity was 50 the whole time. You couldn’t really see it till I was trimming the bud and it fell apart. It was the third bud I trimmed and i thought the whole grow was ruined, but luckily it was only on the one bud. It was like cancer and rotted the whole inside of the bud. Not sure what I could have done different.
Maybe defoliate more?
I looked through everything I cut down and very little was able to be salvaged. I did not see that video. I will have to find it and check it out, thank you. It’s raining again here today and tomorrow off and on, plus its humid. GRRRR. I have to check my other plants tomorrow and make sure more of this isn’t happening.
It’s been 80’s during the day and low 50’s at night. Everything gets very dewey. Now we’re getting rain and high humidity UGH I’ve already taken some of the large leaves off.
That’s good that you were able to catch it before it got out of control. It’s too humid here right now and also raining. Just what I don’t want
Just the worst conditions. You have to be really hard hearted with bud rot and cut your losses. Literally.
