So I’ve pretty much realized that growing and getting a plant to harvest is not the hard part. The hard part is timing that harvest right and checking trichomes with a loupe or digital microscope… both which I have. I don’t know if my eyes are shot or I just don’t have a steady hand, but this shit is frustrating the bejesus outta me. I cut the main colas last week on this gorilla glue because they were getting kinda crunchy tips and changing colors I think because the light is so close due to no more room and I wanted to give all the other lower stuff more light. I’ve smoked some and it’s decent, but I think I jumped the gun. Today makes 10 weeks in flower and I was going to chop it tomorrow. Im kinda to the point I want to be done with this plant which is a bag seed with unknown genetics and free up space for the autos in flower who can use the room. These are the best I could get with the microscope
Looks like a good time to harvest to me, nice and milky with a few ambers. If you want more of a couchlock high, go a little longer.

I was focusing on the buds, but at the same time, these buds are real leafy. Here’s a pic of the plant, and the colas I chopped last week from same plant

Thanks man, do you see what I mean though. Just sugar leaves everywhere. I’m focusing on the spots of bud but you catch a leaf or two in each shot. This plant was started mid April, and being it’s my first grow. Either way I’m happy with the results and yield

Gorilla glue yielded 2gs shy of 5 oz’s dry and kush mints was 90gs. Nice little half lb haul of 2 plants for my first time. I’ll take it!

thats a great full haul. i just hung up some trees, should be getting a bit over a lb from the looks of it. for the first haul its almost hard to believe.
got to test run the stuff and oooooo eeeeee its great stuff better than anything i can find on the streets.
its such a crazy feeling getting a haul like that especially if its good smoke!

I feel ya dude. I’m right there with you. But me and a couple of friends smoked some I accidentally clipped from lower branches and got fucked up and for hours. Lol! Maybe that’s why I’m so impatient.
