So im into the 8th week of flowering on super skunk and purple gelato. Would i be able to harvest a few colas now . I know im rushing but its gonna get rough in the next few weeks and i need my meds. Was shooting for 10 weeks although ss may be ready in 9. If i cut some colas now would it even be worth it.

How about a few pics of the full plant and close ups of the trichomes?

I can’t see the trichomes as the pics aren’t close-up enough. Based on the pistils on your flower you have a while (weeks) to go yet. Wait for the white pistils to brown and recede back into the buds and then begin looking at the trichomes. I suggest you get a USB microscope ($20 or $30) on Amazon so you can see the trichomes up close like the below pic and assess their maturity. When people harvest is subject to their personal taste in trichome maturity. See the chart below on how to assess trichome maturity

Yup a couple of more weeks ago wont hurt. And she looks like the grow has gon superbly. You are so close to the finish line, and those tops are usually the bulk of yield. I’d soldier on a bit longer if possible.

Check the OPs title 
Lay stem with bud on racks. Set temp 105*f
Let dry overnight and enjoy a wake and bake
