Hello,
I need to transplant one of my seedlings to a pot as it’s touching the dome.
My question is do I need to water the new pot before or after tI transplant.
I’m moving a Jiffy Pellet to a small pot with Pro-Mix Potting Soil. The pellet is still moist. The new soil is dry.
Thanks
You don’t have to soak the pot but get it a little moist before and it will avoid root shock.

If you water it first, then let it dry up just a little, it’ll be easier to work with, and will absorb water better once it’s been saturated clear through.

I only transplant once but i fully drench the pot it is going into, then i leave it a day to drain, then i transplant the seedling with 1/2 teaspoon mikos in the hole before the seedling goes into its final home 5 gallon grow bag. Works very well every time.
