Hey guys!
I got 7 plants in my tent and im planning to flip to flower soon. I just started giving my girls transitioning nutes. Theyre growing great and healthy but i think im over crowding. What tips do you guys have on defoliation or do you even defoliate? I got like 6 fans going on so im sure airflow is good. Should i get rid of a plant for more space? How much does a plant in veg run for?
Temps: 78F-81F
RH: 60-70%
62 days from seed
Tallest plant 18"
Smallest 13"

You can remove the lower 1/3 below. You’ll likely do that again mid flower.

Welcome ! nice healthy looking plants. Unfortunately it’s only going to get tighter. As @Covertgrower mentioned Clean up the bottom area an keep a lot of good airflow.

Thanks for the advice, I’ve been slowly trimming away at the bottom. Less than one third so far, Should i be removing leaves and new growth/nodes? Ive been thinking about just taking one plant out and putting it outdoor. Any tips on converting an indoor plant to outdoor?

Lollipop them all up to the tightest nodes on any branches you’d like a cola on
I run the same spaces(s), 4 per 4x and lollipop them right now, slowly works better than quickly. Fast defoliating will add weeks to you grow… slow will not.
I do mine over a week or two and flip light schedule somewhere in middle

If you can move one outside would be the easiest way to create space. Tuck a few leafs on top an maybe take a few for better light penetration. Personally I would leave the new growth. Running out of space is a tough problem to deal with. Plants competing for space. You’re plants look great keep up the good work.

Thank you guys! When do you guys start switching nutes? Right when you start 12-12 lighting or is their a transition period during veg lighting?

Once you flip your plants are probably going to at least double in size. I like to stick with Veg nutes 10 to 14 days after the flip to support the stretch mode. The transition period probably about the same amount of time before you see them start flowering.

Hey guys
It was a tough decision to remove 2 plants from the tent but felt like it needed to be done
Heres the new layout. Heres some pics of the girls i removed pretty much all the lower leaves it was getting crowded.
When defoliating, should i remove the aide branches that probably wont make it to the top? Like this one that im pulling down w the snips for an example.
The one im
