Totally clueless, is there hope

Ok guys , sorry iv been away, i was kids embarrassed about the set up and the lack of knowledge, so i took @1LuckyMF advice and started reading everything i could and took @ChittyChittyBangin advice and went and got the right materials , and am today currently working on @1HappyPappy advice by getting my location in order. “Cutting trees and ect “ and what made me a lil happy is I seen the comment about a greenhouse film , and I had just finish ordering some and was coming here to update and ask if that was ok , I was going to remove one more panel and just leave the 2 on the ends and put the plastic over the center , I’m also thinking about taking the top half of the vinyl off across the east side so the sun will be right on it as it rises . For now Ima just get the landscaping right and my shit together and I’ll come back with pics of everything and then hopefully yall can tell me what I need to change or improve on , I haven’t wanted to update until I had a proper presentation to show . I should be completely set up by t tomorrow evening and I will update then r with pics , and what frets and everything , also I had my mom bring me 3 more seeds ,and now have them germinating . I ordered 5 grow bags and the plastic cover, but it’s green and made like a tarp with the rings, the discription said green greenhouse cover so I assume that is ok ? As far as your question @Jaysittinback , it is hidden , but not deep in the woods, it’s in a royal suburd but I’m at the edge with a fence , the lil shack is just a small shed I built for storage , I would have just put them out side in a garden , but I’m afraid the dog will destroy them, or my very hardheaded son . But sorry again about the long post . I logged in thinking that no one would have been curious about my shabby lil set up , and to see ppl have , is really cool , so thanks , I’ll be back in like 2 days with pics of everything , with a much more respectable set up .:pray::pray::v::v::v:

Ps . I read somewhere that metal can help reflect the heat , is there any way to use the sheets iv removed in any way ?i have no clue if it helps or hurts just a thought

Green house cover is generally used to preotect the film in winter, or its a “shade” cloth, usually assigned a percentage, like 65% or 40%… whatever it may be. For full light transfer Green house film, it’s completely translucent. Pretty clear actually. Even the plastic rolls at the big box stores won’t work.

I did find a old pic of mine. I only used the “film” over the hoops, the plastic on the gable ends are utility plastic rolls from Lowes. Just a 2x6 rectangle frame with gussets in the corners to hold it’s shape, I used an old storm door I had laying around.

Notice how clear the section over the center is compared to the ends?

The clear is what you want.

I don’t think you’ll want extra heat, it get’s hot as shite under the plastic, you may even need a fan.

ahhh… if you mean reflect heat to keep heat out… it would have to be really shiney and even then metal conducts heat pretty good.

Right on the plastic. I tried a roll of “clear” construction plastic from hardware store 2yrs ago. Plant stretched thin and weak 8’ tall but didn’t have enough energy for real buds.

It will survive a hot climate if it gets a break of scattered sun/shade for a few hours. Embarrased! Heck growmie. Here…

I run in the open class it’s run-what-ya-brung. Outlaw no cc limits here. My neighbor plants in his garden with small short fence around 2 plants, for dogs n kids

I started with walmart LED’s and got the wrong ones, one of the sweet Ladies on here had mercy on me and told me what to get.

My first attempt I dropped the seeds in the ground and went outta town for a week. When I got back they were 6"s tall and al laid over towards the window.

I still got some smoke out of’m. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks allot guys , I finally have everything in place I think , I took all the roof off and cover half with the green mesh see threw tarp , so I can slid them under that when it is really bad weather or for shade , I cut all the tress on top and got rid of any shade on the shed “I also took out my Internet while doing so lol . But now iv got it looking ok . While reading iv seen allot of ppl feel there plants in the first small container until they are way bigger than mine are now, to where is i have all 3 of mine in there final container , they seem to be doing fine so i hope i didn’t mess up there . Anyways ima go take pics now and post them and if there are any improvements i need to make please tell me . Also the weather here has gotten down to 54 the past 2 nights, the first night i brought them inside , last night i left them out there, is that too cold? Anyways thanks so much to every one, i am starting to think i have a really good shot of making this work thanks to everyone’s support and advice . My fingers are crossed and I’m very hopeful . If hope and love is part of what it takes , they will be fine , cause they are getting generous amount of both ! Anyways thank you all and give me thirty mins and I’ll post some pics

So here it is guys , the reason for only one being in a grow bag is because I ordered 5 and they only sent one somehow so I just grabbed to big pots . They get direct sunlight now for most of the day , I’m going to get a fan to help the circulation. So tell me what you think, is this ok ? And do the plants look ok so far ? Thanks in advance for any input or advice

Also does the first one look the right size for a month old ? Iv seen on here ppl with way bigger plants at this time, but they were autos and indoors. I hope is doing ok

The first pic is a month old, it’s pretty small for a month. The length of stem from the soil to the first leaves tells me it needs more sun.

Agreed it stretched reaching for light. It’s small for it’s age but it’s green and not sick just low on energy I think. Keep finding ways to increase it’s light and don’t overwater not much else to do with a seedling. Photoperoid good that’s what ya want for a grow like this. If it stretches for a month too long beat it down then let it flower

Being so low in the pot will cause them get a lot of shade from the pot itself. Next time more soil or a smaller pot would help. You can add more soil up to the leaves to give it more support.

Thanks guys, I have just got them back in the shed , I had allot of trees limbs and things to cut and it’s been really rainy , so iv had them inside and moved outside during peak sunny times , and chasing sun around really, but my landscaping is finally finish and now where I just put them gets direct sun from sun up to sun set , and I also put them pretty high up . So maybe that will be the difference in the sunlight’s and they will grow better.

@Jaysittinback @1LuckyMF @Gl1tch I thought that Iput the last 2 too low , should I transplant or am I ok just adding soil up to the leaves?btw it’s not the first pic, The 2 in the pots are only a week old and now will have more light , the one in the bag is the one that’s a month old .

If you can pull it without damaging roots. I think I could and I would yes

Roots in a cup or quart can reach bottom in a week. Careful, plan on getting the whole thing out

@what about the one in the bag, should I move that one to, it’s all the way out of the bag

The one in the bag is ok, you can roll the edges of the bag down a little if you need. As long as you don’t break roots or go crazy changing medium transplanting would be a better bet.

No too many roots maybe, nothing wrong with adding dirt. If you want you can later remove the first lower leaves and add dirt to there. Better off just doing nothing to that one or roll it up like Gl1tch sez.
