Total loss? not yet!

Plants were left on 25hrs of darkness when lights where turned back on they looked like they were dying. Wilting hard loosing color and overall strength. To top it off and make matters worse plants where knocked down and squished.

It’s currently been 18 hrs of them being under the light should I give them more or just go back regular schedule 18/6 or do 20/4 since they have had enough night time?

The plants both have bounce back and look decent but that’s being nice they still look like they have had a hard time

Sounds like they are still in veg. Get them back to their normal light cycle, 18/6 would be what i use, and look close over next couple weeks for nanners or signs of herming. How long before you flip to flower?

Nanners, hermins ? They barely just hit veg stage it’s been 3 weeks since they sprouted and they both were on their forth node.

If your still in veg and stressed them its not likely you hermed them, really unlikely. However its something you want to watch for since you did in fact stress it. Herms are something i watch for constantly, especially after an event of some kind.

Just advice.

All to new to be able to identify a hermi but I hope they weren’t stressed to the point of becoming one.

I doubt it. Keep a sharp eye out tho. Remember spottung a hermy aint like sexing exactly. You can have 10 nodes that all look female and all is good, an bam! One little sack will pop up and wreak havoc.

not to fret, even hermaphroditic weed is still quite good, maybe a bit seedy and you dont get the same bud volume but you can still smoke it and make brownies and stuff. So dont worry it happens, I had 4 or 5 power outages last winter and my dope is just fine.

Hermaphroditic weed is simpky a plant with both sexes sometimes caused by stress, sometimes poor genetics. If you do get boy parts on your girl plants, they are normally easy to spot and you can just pick the bananas off as the show up. You may miss a few ?

I had a male plant completely loaded before 30 days old above soil. So yes it can happen long before a female will flower. At least my male was 10 times bigger than the female plant. Both was the same age.

I don’t Veg at all and this was in a 12/12 light schedule only. Yup…less than 30 days and big balls all around.
