I finally got all my stuff. I got the grow package white widow. I also ordered the grow pods. I have a few questions. anyone ever use the grow pods? you add water they expand then you put your seed in the center. also when do you start adding the flower power starter? any help is appriecated. also about the pods do you keep them in water?

Flower power you’ll start around 4th week its really strong .5 grams of the start per litre…and some do some dont I personally dont I let them dry just a tad so the seed still gets oxygen and doesn’t drowned
I waited 26 hrs for the 5 ww seeds to soak. I used the germination plugs and planted a seed in each. I did this at 3pm cst. ill let you know when they pop up. I still have questions about these plugs if there is anyone that uses them let me know and ill ask.

sorry i didn’t see where you mentioned the germ plugs. my question is after they have grown and you put the seed in them do you keep a little water in the bowl to keep the plug wet or do you let them dry out from the bottom and just add water to the top
I let them dry and when needed I mist them on the top a few times and around the sides a few times so that way its not to much but just enough @fwn54
ok that makes sense thanks. im still a couple of days away from the wws to pop up. when that happens then I think ill feel a little better about what im doing. ive read so much stuff here that it all seems more critical. then only other time I grew I put seeds in the ground without soaking them and had 6 plants that did ok but I didn’t know to get rid of the males, I wasn’t sure which was which actually. it is so much harder when you have expectations,

I started mine the same why you are doing it. My WWs came up in 2 days GL and SK came up a day later.
hi I have a couple of questions. how often do you use the nutrients? how often do you just use water? 8 of the 10 ww seeds are growing. but they don’t look great. has some white spots on some of them. I raised the light it seemed to help, but I really think its because I don’t know when to add the nutrients and water. please help. before I planted the wws while I was waiting for them to come in actually, I planted seeds I had and those are doing great, big bushy plants. so I can get them to grow but I want the wws to look like those.
How old are your plants and if nutrients are hitting plants leaves it will leave white spots these white spots are residue from the nutrients.
How often to use nutrients once a week. And that depends on plants age and size as well. When to water you can determine with your finger or lift the pots, if pots are light water if they are heavy dont size and age also determines how much water these plants should be receiving.
You would add nutrients at the 7 set of leaves that way she is well established and how much nutrients depends on how much water your giving

this is where it gets complicated. I started some seeds as soon as I read enough to actually have a chance to grow. the only time I grew was last year outside. had 7 good plants but had no clue as to what kind or what sex. so the pot wasn’t that great. the ones I started indoors was seeds I have collected over the years. no clue as to what they are. I have 6 of those growing and are doing great. they are about 2 weeks ahead of my wws. and I messed up because first I planted 5 wws after they came up about a week later I planted 5 more. I have 8 that have come up and are ok. your right about the white spots I read somewhere here you should spray the leaves but quit when I noticed the spots so I think they will be ok. I had been fertilizing 2 times a week. and watering once a week. I had the pods and just recently transplanted them to pots. I put two in a pot but am thinking maybe I should give them each there own pot. the problem I have with watering there have been several places where the guys talk about runoff and checking ph there. you say to test it with my finger. should you add water till you have runoff each time? thanks for your help. im not a perfectionist and am having trouble getting it all right.
You shouldnt be fertilizing seedlings, also you should be doing only 1 per pot, this allows plants to grow better without suffocating each other ie; roots space being shared, and competing for nutrients.
Checking runoff is really only nessicary when plants are going through severe issues otherwise your working harder than you have to, now is it good to water until you get runoff, this again depends on size and age of the plant.
If the plant is a seedling the best way to provide her with water is to mist her leaves down maybe lightly mist the soil as well for the first week or 2 of growth unto trey can establish healthy root systems, once they are well established and getting into or already are in vegetative stage then yes water until you get runoff, it prevents toxins from building in the soil and around the roots, and not only toxins but salts as well.
Testing with your finger in top inch of soil is to indicate weather there thirsty or not, if the top inch is dry, perfect time to quench their thirst @fwn54
when I started this I got the ww package that included the flower power nutrients. I looked up how to use and such and they had a chart that said to use the start fp the first two weeks. is that wrong? if it is I messed up. this is the place I went. https://flowerpowerfertilizers.com/en/user-guide I have started separating the plants. its easy they are still in the pods I planted so I will correct that. I need this to work I lost my connection so right now I have nothing to smoke. its killing me. I will welcome anything you can do to help me get them up and running. when I read here, it seems to me to get great stuff that all that is said I should do but even if I don’t get it all right then the pot will still be able to smoke what I have grown. is that right?
