Tokerpokers Widows

Nothing wrong with that. There’s always gonna be bigger and better stuff out there and it’s great to get advice and learn about them, but sometimes it comes down to this- I know my neighbors truck is new and has more bells and whistles than mine but i’ll stick with her for now. She’s paid for, not loaded with miles and gets the job done for me. That don’t mean there’s not one on the wish list for when the time comes. I got one of them cheap amazon lights too, I just about fell over when I unboxed it. lol. I’ll find a use for it someday.

Good Morning Growmies! Day 8, they made it a week!
Trying to stay disciplined and keep hands off for now, they don’t need much. Not even having to spritz much. Kinda like watching paint dry at this point. Gonna keep watching, especially the one in promix as I work up to getting moisture to her roots for when she starts taking in through them. I know i’ll have to start adding some seedling nutes once she starts drinking good. Sound good or not?

That’s my biggest problem is patience but since I started growing it differently has helped. Lil girls looking good :+1: and healthy.

Kool, you got a journal that I can follow? Like the fire pit btw, we have one we hang out around quite a bit. Guess you can take the boy outta the mountains but you can’t take the mountains outta the boy. lol

Yeah but I guess they know more about living than I know about growing, so i’m just trying to follow their lead. Hope I can keep up. lol

Day 9 and they seem fine. Both have a small spot or two on a leaf but I don’t really think it’s the start of anything (Chime in if you do). Maybe just blemishes from the water droplets that form under the domes and the way the light gets directed through them. Both just a fuzz over 2 inches.

Thank you! I’m learning to stay out of their way a little better this time around lol.

Lol. I’m trying to do the same. It’s funny, I read all these other threads and look at their plants and a lot of times I think, oh that looks fine those little spots are nothing to worry about. Then I look at mine for the 20th time and see all kinds of stuff wrong. Funny how the mind works.

Day 10, so 9 above ground. The twins are finally growing vertically. I’ve left the light settings the same, hoping they would once they started getting established. So far it looks spot on for the way I hoped they would grow without stretching way before they should. Shout out to @DoneDeal for the advice on the light since he has used the same one. I think I would be dealing with two very leggy seedlings if I had stuck with the Spider Farmer recommendations. The one in fabric pot looks a little funky to me as two of her leaves seem to be praying and the two adjacent leaves are tipping downward, but she looks healthy to me. Now if I can get the watering/feeding right i’ll be happy. I think that is coming soon.

Happy Sunday Folks! It’s day 11 now and I took the domes off yesterday afternoon. Turned a little clip on fan in their direction to just move em around a little. Decided I should start adding more moisture to the promix since it’s so dry and I removed the dome. mixed up a quart with the Bergmans seedling nutes and added about 3/4 of it around the outside of my moisture ring and the rest on the ring. No water yet for the living soil from A PotforPot, going to weigh it today and see how light it is now. Not really sure how they’re liking all this, they’re giving me mixed signals. I see some yellowing, especially the slightly bigger one in promix. The other Looks like she’s praying from one direction and then turn her 90* and she’s doin the damn crane! She did grow a little vertically overnight so not sure if too much light or not. You guys see anything i’m off course on? @DoneDeal @JaneQP @4204life @merlin44 @ChittyChittyBangin

To much light will make the leaves curl under and hide for sure. Raise the light 6in and added a little bit more water to her

Thanks man. I thought maybe but was a little confused with the leaves just below them reaching up and i’m pretty sure she’s stretched a tiny bit today also. I did raise it a couple inches but may not be enough.

I’m sure they are ready to get out of them domes and get some fresh air and light. Looking good man!

Do you use the Photone app to check light intensity? As long as you are not over 300 ppfd you should be fine.
