To top or not to top that is the question?

I really like the massive cola I naturally get from to top of plant. I consider it my pride and joy. I always save it for last to smoke and to brag about. So, if I top plant do I get 2 big monster colas or do I lose and get 2 medium colas???

This plant was topped 3x.

And to contrast techniques, these plants were never topped. Just LST, which stands for “Low Stress Training”

Over twenty colas per plant that were from 12 to 16 inches tall and 2 - 3 inches plus in diameter.

This one was topped 3 times. once at the main and then when they grew out enough I topped each one.

12 zips and all the colas were close to the same size. Before chop all were 8-12 inches tall

No right or wrong answer here. Growers choice!!

IME whether you train a plant or not you will get similar yields. Based on that if you have more tops they will be smaller. Fewer tops and will be larger. Just my experience.
