Titan auto lower leaves yellowing

On day 42 from germination and noticed my lower leaves yellowing from the inside as opposed to tip to inside. Is this normal leaf fading or is it telling me something? I know I have nutrient burn and maybe ph issue. I just don’t trust me ph pen and want to wait to get an RO filter for next grow.

A plant will eventually shed the lower leaves. It is normal.

Possibly wind burn?

I don’t see major problems. Plants are going to develop blemishes, but let’s get more info and take a look at it for potential issues:

Water with 6.6 ph water and have only added the recommended “every watering” dose (minimum of that) with cal-mag. Water with recharge once a week. Check highest flower spots for ppfd every time I turn on lights with photobio and keep max of 670 for 20/4 lighting schedule. @MidwestGuy

Is your grow fully organic?

Yes I’ve been using only build a soil craft blend and organic cal mag, Both the potting mixes were organic also.

Let’s wait for an organic grower to help. I don’t have organic experience and things are handled a little differently. @dbrn32 or @Myfriendis410 should be able to point toward a good organic grower.

He’s been having rough couple of days. Maybe we can catch @GreenJewels for some assistance?

@Bigcbud some of the best help you can get with organics. Like beyond just telling you to buy this or that. He can tell you how to make your own and when/how to use.

A fan will sure do it!

Sure can. Here’s a very mild case I found a few days ago in my room.

I’d guess K and Fe, maybe a little Zn. Mostly a guess to sharpen my skills. Best way I know to learn is to be wrong. Hopefully someone more experienced will jump in to give you a better answer.

Thanks for the tag @dbrn32

I’m not at all familiar with Kellogs soil. I see there is a couple types. Black kow manure I’ve never used. Hopefully @Budbrother gets back with us. He is a a wealth of knowledge and familiar with your grow. We will troubleshoot. I have a few questions.

When did the leaf clawing start? I also see a lot of tip burn. Is this new?

Why the extra cal mag? Did she have a deficiency at some point? Craft blend has plenty of calcium (10%) how much craft blend are you using and how often?

How often are you watering and how much water? What size pot is it? The wood pot will not breath as well as a cloth. Could you be over watering?

@Caligurl @Big123 are excellent organic growers. Any thoughts guys?

The clawing has been here about a week and a half and the yellowing started maybe 4-5 days ago.

Now that I am in flowering and have a fan circulating underneath the plants about every 2-3 days. I put my finger in the soil about two inches and if it isn’t moist I water to about 10-15% run off. I think the pot is a 25 gallon, I drilled holes at the bottom and a ring about 4 inches up the side for airflow. My intake points underneath it and the fan is constantly getting blowing at the bottom. Doesn’t mean it’s not having issues I just make sure the top 2-3 inches are dry before adding.

At this point I think when I watered with buildabloom two weeks ago I locked the plant out of receiving calcium or magnesium. Orr I’ve given so much it’s locked itself out. This is where I’m confused because I keep seeing the rust spots and yellow fade but no matter how many cal mag treatments I give it still shows signs of deficiencies. Didn’t think 6.6 ph water would cause issues

Also just noticed the trunk and most stems are turning purple if that means anything. The internet says a myriad of stuff about it

Not necessary to water to run off with organics.

Thats great :+1:

Build a bloom is good stuff. I use it in flower also. High in potassium and phosphorus and also contains calcium.
I think you are using too much calcium which can inhibit uptake of mag, potassium and phosphorus. How often do you use cal mag?

Not normally necessary to ph your water with organic living soil unless your water is extremely high ph. But ph of 6.5 is great.

Usually phosphorus deficiency or lock out. Can also be genetic
