Ok did some digging pH pen. I will have to invest in a better pen. Mine was cheap one from Amazon. Will get a Hanna. Yhanks
Whatever meter you get, make sure to get calibration solution. Youâre gonna have to calibrate often to assure accurate numbers. Definitely donât get one of those cheap yellow ones off Amazon.
To test the pH of the roots, youâd wanna do a slurry test or take runoff numbers when you water. Itâs the first lil bit of water that comes out. Turkey baster up only enough to cover your meter head. Thatâs your pH at the roots.
I do that already. Itâs usually right about the same as what I water with.
Thatâs good. Just make sure to keep an eye on it, so you donât go too far outta range of uptakes. pH is key to growing great cannabis.
The leafs started to do this. Think it might have been nutrient burn so flushed.
Thatâs how she looks after about a week. Any advice would be greatly appreciated so I donât make the same mistake.
Plant looks good. May be time for a transplant. The leaves are reaching out to the sides of the container. Usually a sign.
Ok do you think itâs close to being to flip to 12Ă12
You can flip a photo at any time ya want. You can start a plant under 12/12. Basically it comes down to the space you have is the only limitation, if not autos. Itâs basic math for me when I flip.
Thank you very much I appreciate your advice
Hight of tent is set.
Measure -
Max height light can be raised.
Min distance away from plants the light can be without burning.
Now take the hight of your pots. That doesnât change. Put some tape to mark tent pole.
Take above numbers. Max hight light. Include safe distance for light. Mark on the tent pole.
Thatâs the max amount of available space that you have to work with. Now it comes down to the stretch per strain.
If you have a plant that has a 2x stretch. You take available space and divide into thirds. Mark the bottom third on the pole.
Now when the plant reaches that spot, no matter what, you have to flip; or youâll burn them with the lights before harvest.
Edit: Obviously, the larger the plant you have the more you will harvest. Flipping your little plant over now would give you may be an ounce to an ounce and a half.
Not going to lie seems like common sense with the way you worded it. Itâs my first on my own so subsequently i donât know much. If you seen my rigged up temp. space you would laugh, but that was good info and i wrote that shit down. Thank you for your knowledge.
We all start somewhere. Thatâs how we learn and grow as a community. Everyone of us has stood on the shoulders of the people that came before us. Thatâs how all learning is accomplished. Good luck and Happy growing.
Get your lil ones transplanted so they donât get root bound and cause further issues.
No doubt! Iâll get them taken care first thing in the morning. Happy Growing
