Tiny snap of stem while LST

As the picture shows, I was bending the stem to open up the canopy after topping and the tiniest snap happened. I stopped bending and staked it in place and left it for now.

Should I bend it back upright and allow it time to heal? If I leave it as is will it callous over and be business as usual?

Thanks

You’ll be fine. It’ll create a little knuckle

I’d leave it just as is for a few days. It doesn’t look to bad but I’d be afraid to disturb it for a few days.

Sounds good

You wrap it with some Teflon tape. It will be fine if you don’t

If you have an aloe plant squirt some of that on there, will heal up in a couple days. With that crack could just start super cropping!

Went back to check on the plants this morning and the stem was completely snapped . Looks like I will attempt mainlining now since it snapped above the 3rd node.
