Damn it! I guess I went a little too hard when training and snapped the main stem. I put some honey in it and tied it off, anything else I can do? With that huge gash in her main stem, will she be ok?
Tape it or even zip tie it lightly. Should keep going. It’ll look weird after it heels. Tape and zip tie you’ll remove after it heels.
Next time, if you don’t already know, when you top it, cut it above the split so it doesn’t split
I was training her when the stem snapped. Pulled it down a little too much.
I did actually top above the node, but she is getting too big for one small light, and I was trying to keep her canopy even.
Thanks for the response and info!
She should be fine. Just did the same a few weeks back (for the first time ever) and filled the gap with aloe and electrical taped her up. She never missed a beat. Leaves on those branches didn’t even wilt. This was after about a week when I removed the tape.
It happens to me often, and I just use honey and Teflon tape to fix it. And none of my plants ever died because of this!

I used some honey and the plastic plant ties I was using to train her. Not pretty but hopefully it will work.
Nice job! It doesn’t have to be pretty, all you need is some support while she heals!
I got one that was doubled over and split up the side. Packed it fresh aloe and wrapped in duct tape. It healed up and it’s now in flower.
Happens frequently man, like above Honey or Aloe and I use electrical tape because it will stretch a little!
Just like that banzai tree that got snapped in karate kid II, mr miyagi taped that bitch up and she was right as rain.
