Hey guys I’ve been waiting to do a flush but my girl still has water in her from last time but towards the bottom of the pot. Like it’s dry but there is still some water at the bottom. My question Is Can I flush her now because I have to go outta town tomorrow and won’t be back till Sunday and I know she won’t last that long with the little water she does have left in her and I don’t trust my buddy with doing a flush. (I don’t feel he knows enough)
Why are you flushing? Is there something wrong?
Ok go to my journal didn’t post their because people seem to respond faster this way but I’m confused too lol some say it’s ph problem and I need to flush others say I don’t need to flush and that the ph of soil is off ( the reason the guy said don’t flush is because I’ve only been feeding 1/4 nutes) @Matthew420
@Matthew420 also I’m scheduled to feed nutes next feed and am scared because of this issue
Gotcha. Just scanned real quick again. I think what @bob31 said was correct about adjusting PH. Others probably said the same thing.
If you’re unsure things are stable I’d skip the feeding personally. Or at least push it back one watering until PH stabilizes. Maybe not needed but I like to be safe, easier than trying to fix a problem.
I knew Florida son meant well but confused me cause I got two different answers now do I flush with water phd to 6.5 first then adjust the water going in depending on how high or low the ph is @Matthew420
Yea but me and @kabongster had a conversation and he was recommending me give nutes right after the flush @Matthew420
@Swan1234 there are several reasons to flush.
You need to flush to lower your pH.
It is also posted on the feeding schedule for your nutrients.
The other responder on the original post was talking about flushing at the end of the grow to remove impurities.
I’m gonna go with majority and flush. I also wanna point out that if you feel I’m being hard headed I’m not meaning too just want what’s best for my plant. Think I’m just over think this whole thing. Also if you read my first post in this topic it say that there is still some water at bottom of pot can I still flush? @bob31
@Swan1234 brother, we are good here!
I know you are a little confused about the process and all any of us wants is for you to grow some good MJ.
I say let it dry another day. You don’t want to damage the roots. They need some air.
