Yes, you did your post properly.
And to post pictures, just look for the “portrait Icon”, highlighted in yellow in my picture here (on the computer) or at the bottom right if you’re on a phone:
When you click that icon, you’ll get a box that will let you browse for your picture. Try to upload just one or two at a time and wait for the upload to finish before hitting the “reply” button and you should be good.
