"thoughts" & "help"

I need some help and opinions on this plant. I’ve noticed that after I topped this plant the main stem has stopped growing. I’m still getting great new growth from the branches and she is thriving but the main stem has stopped , My question is can I force her into flowering by changing the lights, 12/12. Although she is outside in a fabric pot , I was wondering if I brought her in at night and put her in total darkness for 12 hours then put her back outside for the other 12 hours will she start flowering or do I need to just ride it out?? All thoughts are hugely appreciated!!!

How long since you topped her? New growth off the main stems takes a little bit to get going once it’s been topped.

And yes you can force flower by bringing inside to total darkness for 12 hours a day- but I think you should be on track for a good harvest, so I don’t know if you’d need to do that.

I’m with @Ray4x. It takes time for the plant to recover from the insult. Your plant looks healthy: give it a bit more time before flower if you can.

Thank You @Ray4x , I topped her about a month ago , although the she is producing new branches the main stem has not grown at all, I topped my other plants and they are fine but for some reason this little brat stopped. I topped her about 2X already and she is producing new branches and new growth everywhere except the main stem ? Hmmm…

@MBgrower

Once you top it the main stem won’t grow again. What topping does is it creates 2 new main branches that start forming right below the topping site.

Can you get us a close up pic of the topping site?
