Now If I had cakes of hash or pressed kief I know I would just have to try the method we used in the 70’s, Hot Knives. I had some black hash back in that era and a good hot knife hit and my friends were passing out faster than we could pick them up.
I’ve been tempted to get a press and compress my kief and bubble hash but for now, I’m happy with it in powdery form.
I know nothing about that I never have but you make your choice or try it both ways. I am a KISS person and if I don’t gotta I won’t. @daz49 and I don’t gotta it works for what I want as well as my friend, I get wasted and that’s what matters. I am in it for relaxing not scientific methods they do not compute in my brain at all.

And of course I’m thinking of using it on the vtower with a bit of grinded weed, thanks brother and yeah I used to have hot knives but I don’t have the right cooker for it but I do have campfire burners and the gas to use them but I don’t have a press to press it with lol but we did love our hot knives lol
I’m with you @daz49 if the weed was not decarbox’d before extracting the kief, it would need to have that heat source to make it psychoactive.

Cool bro, I was thinking of a kief spoon as at the moment I’m using a strip of card from a rizzla packet and then just swiping it with a grinder scraper, I am so happy with myself, you guys shoulda told me how easy it was to make it this way
I felt the same way last summer when CB gave me the link to his flower shaker can. Had it in two days. I tried to vape it in my wax pen but it leaves residue so not really good for that but all those other ways are just dandy!!. @Willd, having ample supplies of all of these treats after his harvest used to just put a pile of kief on a surface, light it and let it smolder while he inhaled it.

The shaker I bought is stainless steel or brushed or something with a screen in the bottom and caps on each end. I would but half ounce of shake and buds in there then put the whole thing in the deep freeze for at least 8 hours but usually more. Then shake and bake. @daz49 being careful not to shake too hard or too long else you start getting pulverized plant matter.
@Screwauger 2 hot knives! Now there’s a flashback!! Grab the tackle box, heat up 2 butter knives, drop a piece of hash on one, and smush it with the other. We’d use a paper towel tube and inhale!! I might have just got a head rush thinking about it.
Exactly, have to have the paper towel tube and @daz49 I’ve heated them on the electric burner coils too, no need for blue flames.

Yeah hot knife flashbacks when fishing with my twin brother and our mates and doing hot knife sessions in the tent, we once drove all the way to landsend in Cornwall and had hot knives on the rocks so we could say we had hot knives at landsend ,that’s the the farthest south you can go before hitting water lol we was so stupid then but life was a lot easier
