Third Grow: Four Autos in a 2x4 Tent

Thanks bro! I watched Jake too and figured if he could do 8, MAYBE I could do 4…LOL

My fallback plan is I could put one plant in my 2x2 and leave the other 3 in the 2x4. We’ll see…fun stuff though!

I thought I saw you over there he used smaller pots then I am using hope that’s not gonna be my death :skull: but my 4x4 is about to finish and I’m planning a 4 plant grow in it next and 2 photos in the other 2x4 I should have some emergency space if I need it. That is a definite plus when growing autos they’re not picky about light schedules

Low humidity and lollipop+ defoilation is key. Good air movement to boot and you can do it.

That is the point of my grows and being on this site. To inspire and help. Not to go around always talking about how I do things, how much space I use, and to tell people they will have a hard time because it is not my grow style.

Out of likes again. Your plants are looking great. I found a 2x4 was just a little to small. They just started making this which is what I wanted from the start. I have to many tents to start replacing them all with these. I have one now and it is perfect for 2 of my good autos

I just bought 2 of these because they were a foot taller than all the other ones out. Now they come out with this one I guess it’s only 8" taller. The quality of the ones I got is surprisingly good but not even close to my spider farmer tent. I didn’t get a sf 2x4 because theirs are actually 2.5 x 4.5 and I couldn’t get extra poles from them so I went with the others and the damn extra poles I bought won’t fit them smh

Well, I finally had to address the lower air circulation fan on the big tent. When I went to the Gorilla tent vs. the Vivosun tent…the lower opening access holes went from a 6” to 10”…and its too big to hold a 6” fan. I looked around the Internet looking for a bracket of some sorts with no luck. So I had to make one.

The bracket is made out of 3/4” plywood…

Dust filter on the intake side…

Took a piece of diamond plate aluminum and screwed the two brackets to it and covered the screw heads with duct tape so it slides easier…

Butts up nicely to the 10” opening…

Now I can get the circulation needed to help avoid mold buildup.

Great idea and good job… I use the same intake fan on my 4x4 and actually thinking about getting a second one for the other side the 6" exhaust is crazy strong and above 2/3 power it looks like the tent is going to implode  I open a side window when I have to turn it up

Wow that’s pretty similar to an idea I had except I used a cardboard box to set up the booster fan, for extra circulation

LMAO! I hear ya, I replaced a fan because of just that and bought the Infinity version. The speed control on this fan works great.

The OCD in me has to make things look sturdy & color coordinated. It’s a curse & a blessing! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Coming along nicely. I’m utilizing the UV light more in the early stages of growth…like @Hellraiser does…and it seems to be having a positive impact.

Here is my bonsai-ish WW plant. It started out in a Solo cup and was transplanted into a 1 gallon plastic pot. The thing is so tiny! Just did it for sh!ts & giggles to see how small it would stay in a small pot.

The buds are as round as the tip of your pinky finger…:joy:

I have had a few do that. I call them desk top ladies. Lol

Today was nutrients and trimming day. I’m using silica in this grow and the stalks & leaves are so sturdy, it’s quite noticeable. Two of the plants are starting to flower…the Gorilla Glue & GSCE. The Gelato & Big Bud are short and stout, I can’t seem to encourage any stretch by turning down the light…so I’m just letting them do their thing.

These leaves came off the Gelato, biggest fan leaves to date.

So far so good at 4-5 weeks in.
