Thinking about starting a perpetual gro

I’m sorry. 1 hlg-65 for vegging. You’ll need the larger boards to flower with 4. Either 288, 304, or 324. You can certainly get them as one light if you’d like. However you would like to do it.

Like would this be an ok fan to use @dbrn32 @Not2SureYet.

Sorry to butt in, but the whole house will stink big time if you don’t have a filter. I lost power for a couple of hours the other day and my house smelled like a skunk had been in the house @Josh1126

You may want a little larger setup for 4x4 tent. But you’re on the right track.

@OldSkunk i get that and all but is it actually one of the things i mean now come to think of it dont want my whole house smelling lmao

So a bigger filter is what your saying @dbrn32

I would look for a bigger fan and filter combo.

Ahh ok @dbrn32

Look at GROWNEER on Amazon and you’ll find a 6" setup for $160 that has everything included. I have the same setup and it’s been running continuous for over a year @Josh1126

@dbrn32 so something more like this

That’s good just make sure the fan speed is controllable

Ya that seems like a better size.

I agree with @OldSkunk, if you can find one reasonable around that size with speed control you’ll be much happier with it. It gives you a little control over sound and temps

That is the same filter set up I have. It is pretty quiet and the speed controller is desperate from the fan. It is easy to run out side of the tent. Makes adjusting the speed easier I think. I also have a 6" vivosun fan that the controller is built in. For the vents. Visualize where you want to put the tent. Then look and see if the vent opening are where you could use them. I have my filter set up on the right side and exits on the top. My controller is going out the right side opening. The vent screen on the left is open for air intake. My plants are on the left side. This is how I set mine up. I have the power cords running out the back top. I knew where I was putting the tent and started there. Good zippers are a must since you will be opening them almost every day. just my 02

@dbrn32

So then this one would be better off then

Looks like a winner. If it’s on amazon, I’m sure someone here has it. I bet if you start a new thread asking about that particular model you’ll get some feedback.

A 4" exhaust (203 cfm) with filter sucks in the sides of my 4x2 on the lowest setting. Wondering what this 6" will be like in a 4 x 4 for you Josh1126.

@Amy i will let you know how things go as i get them setup after i buy everything lol

Im on my way to being one of the big boys around here lol i bought two new grow tents today a 2x2 and a 3x3 once i get everything else i will order some good seed but for now i will grow some bag seeds and put them in the tents when they arrive also ordered a 5 pack of 5 gal cloth pots

Ok so im trying something with the bag seeds i dropped has anybody used the extreme gardening mykos azos tea and or cal carb

I would buy a T5 2’ - 4 bulb lamp for the veg room and a 500-1000 watt Ipower Digital lamp system for the flower room. Both lamps are posted in the ILGM Official Buyers Guide; Check them out

This is what I use very successfully. I have many lamps but, I am using the 600 watt HID and the T5 with great success. I also have a 400watt digital, and 2 Mars Hydro 300 (140 watt) for side lighting (experimenting since so many members bought these cheaper LED lamps). They are actually pretty nice IMO
Happy growing, lw
