The ugliest cannabis plant in history, maybe. What happened? 👀

@1LuckyMF,

What are some tips to be quicker and vigilant? I have to admit that autos for me have not been the best experience either. I have been growing consistantly since 1992 and feel I have grown just about every type of cannabis I could get my hands on in just about every media and condition. In seattle now I deal w the wet. In Spokane I dealt with harsh winters and melting hot summers. Yet, my experience with autos are tiny little runts, or my favorite, plants that after 12 months never show a pistil. They just veg and veg and veg and veg. So either I am a dumb mouther fer or I missed the enlightenment.

What’s your differences.? I have also read plenty of auto threads. Specifically, could you compare and contrast some of your more important grow treatise rules? Sorry to put you on the spot…

Be retired and check on them every hour… lol

Growing outside was easy peasy, we’ve gardened forever and have a green house. I mixed happy frog with my own compost and just kept’m watered. Thats it.

Indoors I’m here all day everyday. Jacks and coco is a piece of cake. I did see a bit of mag deficency and added cal-mag early on, but only because I had it already. Really Jacks and silica is all they need. Anything the plants tell ya they need more or less of, just tweak the A, B, Epsom ratios accordingly.

Not a big auto fan myself. I typically grow them as fillers while vegging photo. Some can really produce but a lot of runts lately. Extreme hybridizing has made many unstable. Photo is always easier. Bigger yields. Higher thc. That doesnt mean auto are bad. Just not as reliable or fixable if issues. Here is some noriega auto doing well.

Didn’t see this earlier, sorry.

I think with autos it really is about “less is more”. As much light as possible and basic fertilizer. Outdoors I literally had them on a pallet and used the tractor to keep them in the sun for as many hours as I could. I dropped my seeds in Feb, hardened them in the green house then took’m out to full sun. Ran a schedule of Captain Jacks Dead Bug one day, Safer Caterpillar Killer the next day, water the next day, repeat. I never even top dressed them.

Inside, Jacks and coco. I’m sure you’ve already seen tons of stuff on that combo. As they’ve grown I just keep giving them more fertigation. Currently up to 3 events a day, 60 gal every two days. Just started this schedule. This schedule is for 9 plants. The pics above are 9 weeks since popping out of the ground.

I am in the DEEP south, so not sure how much that matters.
