The right scrog technique

A question from a fellow grower:

My question for you is Scrog. I’m just trying this technique on a couple plants and all I’m using is chickenwire resting on the plants lightly pulling the branches away. So I don’t have them built into a frame so the plants are supporting the chicken wire. Is this a technique that you recommend. Thank you for everything and your advice.

The thing with growing is sometimes getting creative if something works that isn’t text book and seems to be going well to you don’t sweat it.

A floating scrog screen…sounds good if the plant supports the weight of the wire.
