Ummm they still use nitrogen in flower just not as much…
That’s what Ive done when I transplanted. I didn’t read the potting mix small print. “Water crystals” it’s thrown my watering out… now I have to re-tune in with my plant! We had such a good thing going😅
It was only about 10% of the total mix…
but 
its a pain!
