How do you change out your solution without hurting the plant? You must have other totes that you just switch out, right?

No.
If I need to add a gallon, then I prepare 1 gallon of RO water, mix 1/3 strength nutes into it, then add it to the reservoir.

Hmmmm, I never put together any kind of journal building it.
I can tell you there is a water pump inn the bottom of the reservoir that circulates water to an aquarium chiller then back to the reservoir.
Other than that it’s all air pumps and air stones and I also have an o2 grow in there for that extra oxygen bump.

Lots of money for them but as long as you get a chiller made for salt water both of these parts last a long time. I’ve had both over two years and no sign of slowing down

If I had it to do all over this is how I’d do it. Especially with multiple strains.
On a side note: amazing how clean the flower is, grown in hydro. Very delicate with a white ash.

I’ve always thought it burned cleaner also, especially with a good flush, but I also truly think my soil plants all tasted slightly better. Interested in what the coco might bring @Myfriendis410

You’ll like it. I like Promix a bit better: I feel it has more “loft” to it and doesn’t retain as much water. Both are good media though. I think it’s more in my wheelhouse than hydro but I will likely be doing a lot of it once moved to Colorado.

On my first coco now. Here is what I found… cloth pots will retain more than the identical plastic pots will. Next grow is 3 gallon plastic pots with my coco mix.

They look about there. I like the swollen calyx/foxtail going on. Not the biggest fan of GSC-X but it’s a solid strain.

What is it about the last 2 weeks of flower? That’s when they start showing the strain from the weight of the colas. What is happening those last two weeks? It doesn’t sprout anymore calyx but continues to fatten. These last weeks are my favorite to watch!
