The Glarly Benifits of Milk & Experience Stories

@Mr.Spliff so by adding milk to my water mix it will kill off my gnat problem?

That’s basically one of the benefits I’m getting from the post , but you can prevent the gnats by letting your soil medium dry out more before watering , are a light layer of river sand on the top of your soil medium , are stage it kind of through out your soil , but the main cause of gnats is over watering are keeping your soil to wet .

I went to Infantry training at Camp Geiger in 89. Strange to be at an old WWII internment camp for the Japanese. Then I went off to 1st FAST. Yeah, eff those damn 81MM base plates. Only way is to hold 25 lbs. in front of you for MILES. Tripods were OK as you could lay them over your shoulder. Tubes sucked too and 90 degrees with humidity almost killed a couple of us on humps. YOu know the drill, NEVER ride in a Navy support vehicle. I was hooked up with an IV bag with others that we hung it from our rifle. Hard CORE!! Now I hear they drive everywhere. I think the Marines has gotten a little “soft” for sure. The swampy water under the “slide for life” is gone as is the bridge of troubled waters. I heard that AK-47, my fav strain, was developed by a vet with PTSD that was shot in Iraq with an AK. If you haven’t tried it, give it a shot. SUPER creative high!!

Semper Fi bro…the smoking lamp is lit!!

YES it will kill knats and powder fungus when used as a floliar!! Again, soft bodied bugs like knats don’t have a pancreas…therefore, they can’t break down sugars so…They explode!! Eggs are killed too. Cool natural solution to the problem huh??

So it’s been a couple of months since anything has been said. I’m wondering if anyone has done the experiment?

I’ve gotten new seeds and am preparing to give it a go. I have some bag seeds I was thinking of trying it on before my autos and high yield mix pack.

Looking for updates…

Yes, I have done a test with 3 plants just forgot I had posted this. All I can report, sadly without pictures, that I had ZERO bugs and it seemed to produce a thicker foliage than when I hadn’t used it in the past. Keep in mind that calcium is needed for cell division and I would say natural calcium phosphate is far better than the Calcium nitrate salt crap people feed their plants.
Based on this, I have switched to the Nectar for the Gods line in the US that is all organic and produces not only a nice yield, but solid buds that smell yummy… I still use milk. Calcium nitrate salts are crap. You will have a super smooth smoke that is NOT raspy and it’s 100% organic.
Cheers.

Would have signed up years ago if I knew there were fellow Jarheads in here!

I did this and posted a few years ago…everybody shat on me so hard! Funny thing is ppl will pay $20 for cal mag, another $20 for EM1. I used it as a foliar spray in early flower and things got pretty frosty for a horrible 400w led. I think the lactose is key & added w/ Molasses you get a wide variety of nutrients and then the LABS that help make those nutrients readily available. These days however I make LAB and EM1 which seem more stable and less of a gamble and less of a mess.

After my 2nd foliar feeding…

And a link to the recipe I use now…

I’ve also seen a fella by the name of Natty G do some outrageous grows outdoors using powdered milk…hes currently debunking miracle grow myths proving its the most affordable regiment for budget growers and has undeniable results and one of the best bloom boosters on the market. Not my cup of tea but very interesting and grow looks great. I can’t knock his success!

So I was correct, Milk does the body good, anybody literally. Just think , Why would anyone speak or attest to something they have never done or experienced. Many of you here may or may not know of me, but I’ve been at this for almost 4-6 years here, Maybe one of the old schools here that been here since I.L.M G started on the W3 might remember when I first came to this site as a rookie, had no clue about nothing .

Hey Yoshi, how u doing, bro?
Nice to read all the info in this topic… just went across this subject reading Slownickel post´s in other foruns and the Ca thing got me here. HAAHA
Just love this share of knowledge and experience.

So, I´m going to start the milk protocol in my babys.
To make things clear:

  1. How much should I start in proportion? What dosage was the maximum? -Thinking on 5 to 10 ML of milk per Liters of water.
  2. When and how often should I give the solutions? -Thinking on starting every other watering
  3. It´s ok to mix with other inputs?
  4. For FOLIAR use, it can delivery anything of Ca to the plant? Ca is immobile in the plant system…
  5. For IPM protection, How much ML of milk? and when should I apply to the ladys? It´s ok to use when the lights on?

Sorry for so many questions… I´m just trying to learn, here in brasil, the growers don´t use milk. At least, I´ve never saw it, not even on IG.

But , anyway … Thanks in advance and have a great weekend, Bro!

@chenWeed yes Sir, I don’t mind question, but in my defense of ole age, 2 back surgeries, and about 3 commercial gardens, and 2 greenhouses, and a pheno hunting breeding test tent at the Micasa, I’ll do my best to get those measurements.
Your timing could not have been more perfect my brother. I had a guy gifted me 5 plants that he used for mothers for clones, and they got neglected badly.
I put them in Yoshi I.C.U. program for a reversion monster crop, and got challenged that it could not be done cause he flower the plants right, so while I was cutting :scissors: down the colas, I started saving my reversion small popcorn buds so I can revert it after I remove all his buds he suggested was good and left what reclaimed was no good on the plant in his skill level, now this is guy a helped almost 12 years ago when he first got into cultivation, so you kind of know where this is going right, old school verses new school that I taught years ago how to double his yield right.
Now in regards of the milk measurement questions, im getting ready to start my milk application which I start in my transition period from my light switch. I have somehow created a super soil recipe that is sold pretty much globally now, but I was a beginner here when I first started. I do run the air injection technology which is soil, air and water in @peachfuzz self wicking bucket :bucket: prototype, I wish I had about 8000 of them buckets modified.
If I cannot fund my old journal notes on my skin milk grow, Im getting ready to imply it in this mobster crop reversion grow let a rookie talk me into helping him, but I really want a few of the clones myself, I think this G.G #4 is the 11th generation from clone, so it’s a very potent strong cross that it been grown out and cloned 11 times and these mothers plants were planted, check this out, October 2019 so the root ball was massive but having major ph issues when I took them to Yoshi Plant I.C.U. lol. So in the next 7-10 days I’ll have a exact measurement per gallon or per 5 gallon bucket :bucket: Sir.

Hey bro!
First of all, thanks for the answers and a i´m impressed with your operation, my friend. Congratz!!!

Second, relaxxxx. I´ll be watching close this topic and when you remember, I´ll be here!
HAHAHAH

Have a great week, my friend!

I used spoil skin milk preferably, it works best for two reasons in my test experience, it’s a good foliar feed and it kills the larvae in O.F.F.F soil, I don’t used it much, but it’s always full of larvae
