Correct. Ppm (parts per million) shows you how many total dissolved solids (TDS) there are in a nutrient solution. A tds/ppm of 0 tells you there is nothing in the water (you’ll see this in distilled and reverse osmosis water). Although tds/ppm doesn’t tell you exactly what’s in you solution, your nutrient bottles will. That’s why most nutrients have a schedule. Most of which are exaggerated and that’s why you see people recommend 1/4 or 1/2 recommended doses. Here’s an example for fox farms nutrients (ppm numbers have been adjusted to 500 scale meters)
Call me stupid but i do not understand that chart
The first row is time or how many weeks. Second row is light hours. 18 corresponds to veg stage. 12 corresponds to flower. Third is ppm and corresponds to how much of nutrients for each week. Then the rest is just the amounts of each product per week
It reads left to right
Ok i see. I see thats for fox farm products too i was thinking on using ILGM nutrients
They will have their own schedule. The last pic was just an example of a nutrient schedule for a certain line of nutrients
Do you have anywhere i can send you pics of my plants and setup once i finish getting everything necessary maybe you can see if i have anything wrong.
You can post them here. I can change the title so this can be your grow journal.
Ok i can do that
What are you growing?
@Deathstar Start a Grow Journal. My Toilet Bowl one I don’t care if anyone posts things not related to growing. Now my next one will be completely serious and I want it to stay on point. I’m planning on trying to get a plant to completely fill a 4x4x80” tent. I want 16 sq feet of a plant.
Im getting a autoflowering mix pack it has amnesia haze, blueberry and northern lights so i want to grow them together im getting a 36x36 grow tent is than enough space for 3 plants?
With autos it’s hit or miss. My last auto I could’ve grown 3 easily in a 3x3. Other autos I’ve seen, 1 plant could fill a 3x3.
@BobbyDigital Go check out my last 2 posts of my Toilet Bowl thread. Everything is bigger in Texas.
Hey Y’all, another TX grower here.
Only issue for me is dealing with the heat and I do that with air cooled hoods (running 600 watt HPS in flower tent and 600 watt MH in veg tent) and powerful exhaust fans (out the window and another one into the attic) and refrigerated AC, getting by now with an open window since it’s winter . Humidity is usually non existent in my desert climate (under 20 RH most of the year) and I do nothing about that and have never had a problem due to low humidity.
On the 3 plants in the 3x3 - that’s what I got going on here:
A bit crowded but no problem, I usually do 4 girls in my 3x3 flowering tent but these were a bit bigger than I usually go as they were harvested and revegged to save the genetics and take clones and then flowered again, about 4 weeks in flower.
Thats nice!
Now here is a plant and I can’t get her all in the photo.
The one that is in the right back of my one photo was a tad over 7 feet tall. This girl is even bigger.
What strain are you growing in this pic
That is my Peach Puree CBD.
Oh ok kool
Oh she smells yummy. But massive is an understatement.
