Hey all, I’m in Central NY. High Temps for the next week are in the 60’s, with the exception of tomorrow in the mid-80’s. Lows from 40-50 for the next week.
My plants are in an 12’ x 20’shed, uninsulated and unheated. They are by a window that’s been opened since I moved them in.
They’re flowering well , little buds and I don’t want to screw it up.
My question, how cool is too cool? I can place some portable heaters in there, I have no tent around them, but I can fashion one if need be.
What’s the lowest temp they can withstand and by looking at the pic. how much longer do you think I need.
Thanks!

@Backjack Anything under 50 -40s every day on and off your ok Sounds like we have the same shed I did to grow last year all winter long my yields definitely were really low but the colors were beautiful I would just let them go you should be good for a while Since you’re already in flour there’s only one way to really find out go with it

So they’ll keep on keepin’ on, that’s good. If it looks like we’ll get a frost I’ll put some heaters on. Thanks!

it’s a 6ft rail that the light moves on gives more light in a bigger space

Nice! I’ve only got 2 plants in this grow and I just rotate the buckets every couple of days. I could make that. Your plants look good!

I’ve had plants survive nightly lows in the high 30’s. It slows them down tremendously, but it’s manageable.
If you plan on continuously growing in the shed you might want to do some insulating. Mylar backed rigid foam sheets are an easy way to insulate as well as adding a great reflective surface.

Good advice @Drinkslinger. I’ve been considering that. I started this grow really late and have been playing catchup. I may have to sooner than later!

Okay, plants look fine, I have a little heater in there that I use when it gets cold. For the most part daytime temps in the high 50’s to mid 60’s. Today it only went to 59, but it was mid-70’s in the shed. For those of you with more experience, how they looking to you?

Not sure what those specks on the leaves are, although I cut a board in there a couple of days ago!
Lots of the specs are trichomes, not sure of the others.
I see windows. Are they getting 12 hours of complete darkness?
As for the heater… be careful. Space heaters always freak me out. Also, be sure there are no lit up leds or glowing displays.

12-12 on the light cycle. No lights on the heater.
