Tales from the vape side

What do y’all do with your vape-depleted weed? Seems to me that since it’s effectively been decarbed, I could just grind it to a finer grain and infuse it into my oil of choice.

I would do simple QWET extraction for concentrate.

@Borderryan22 is spot on with the QWET. I would add a couple things to consider.

I”m a medical user and found it challenging to use it for edibles not knowing the strength so it went into topicals. Then my reptilian brain decided to do a t-Check tests to find the THC levels in my PVW(previously vaped weed) and it ran 2-3% or less. Even in retirement I place a value on my time so my PVW now gets disposed.

After stating that I must add but I am guessing here… that by the picture you posted your vaped weed is much greener than mine. It looks like you have more THC remaining there than I do. Mine comes out a darker, uniform brown, not the tan and green i see here. Having more goodness in the material probably makes sense to QWET. Good luck moving down your best path @Deadhead !

ABV takes 4x amount when adding for concentrates. I usually toss it in at the end with the buds that I’m making a batch up with already. That or I just make tincture with straight ABV. You can also make canna caps with it.

Morning growmie… I throw mine away… If I want to make my MCT oil I will use fresh decarbed bud…to me using this is like scraping the bowl and smoking that resin… why do it … :cowboy_hat_face:

I am in the @Retiredoldguy camp. If I were short on buds I might have a different attitude. I have not been short on buds since learning to grow my own.

Sorry to go off topic but I saw this post and thought a good place to ask….what vapes are preferred for burning flower? I still roll joints and pack bowles. I tried a vape before but it didn’t do anything but waste my weed.

You don’t “burn” in a vaporizer.

Planet of the Vapes is a good place to look. Best bang for your buck is the Lobo, IMO. The ONE is less expensive and is almost as good as the Lobo.

Search LoBo here on the site :oncoming_fist:t2::green_heart::sign_of_the_horns:t2:
I’ve combusted flower once in over 2 months

I’ll get nostalgic once in awhile and pull out my Zig Zags.

Next time you feel nostalgic, throw them Zig Zags away and get some Raw papers

Today’s portables are getting more reliable. I ended up with a S&B Venty and gave away my other stuf. It’s on the large side which works to my advantage at times. As a medical user I have pulled this out on the edge of public places when I need some medicine and have yet to get pushback. It looks like a piece of medical equipment but could all be in my head.:face_with_monocle:

At home if I need a rip while working around home nothing beats my ball vape for a quick smooth take. Add a dab on top if desired. Evening time with dog in my lap I draw hits from a volcano enjoying the flavor. Many great options today and Planet of the Vapes is a good place to shop.

Do not miss the smokers cough and haven’t looked back. If you are interested in a crash course vaping education check out www.fu%kcombustiondotcom.

Last time I tried a vape I must have puffed on that thing for 30min or more with barely a head change. Not sure what I’m doing wrong with them, had a buddy get me a THC pen from a dispensary to hit on the beach while on vacation and it got me fried :joy:

Those don’t do shit for me either.
Burn flower in a electric device will blow your dome off :+1:t2::green_heart::sign_of_the_horns:t2:
I’m smoking less then half of what I’ve been smoking for decades and hella more buzzed

Misread what your saying :upside_down_face:
Liquid vapes I don’t feel much if anything.

Great customer service, too; on the same level as ILGM.

I’ll definitely check that out as I’m completely ignorant too all of those other consumption methods

morning @bboyfromwayback the effect from dry herb vaping is much slower to come on and it feels cleaner… you don’t get the plant matter buzz that hits you first from a joint… now the next thing is having a device that can accurately control the temp to get what you want from your bud… I had the Arizer Q for several years and it never did anything for me… I got the volcano and bam now I see what I was missing…then I got the Venty and will never combust again… you can really appreciate the cannabinoids in your flower with a good dry herb vape… now as far as that pen you got for the beach those liquid devices have more than cannabis in them IMHO… I had some of Willy’s tonic this weekend and it made me speedy and I know cannabis is not designed to be speedy it is designed by nature for relaxation… :cowboy_hat_face:

Hey good morning! Thanks for the info

Arizer….that’s the one I had. It had way too many temp options and none of them did anything for me. The other units you mentioned may work better but I’m not willing to spend the money they want for them to find out. It’s insane to me how expensive all this shit became once it started to get legal, although not surprising. Think I’ll keep twisting them up :joy:

the arizer bowl is too far from the heat source is what I have figured out now that I got something that works… and yes a good vape pipe is going to cost you a few dollars…many like the lobo and it is less expensive than the S&B products… I have not found anyone who said the S&B products were not worth the money… are your lungs worth saving…just sayin’ :cowboy_hat_face:
