T5 light height and intensity

Hey all, I’m looking for guidance with how high above my lil ladies I should have my agrobrite T5

and how many of the 8 bulbs I should be running. I do have two groups plants about 10 days apart under the light. One group of 4 I just transplanted into 3 gal pots, and a group of 4 in solo cups for another few days.
Currently I have them under 4/8 of the bulbs, the 3 gals are about 7” from top of tallest plant, and 14” above the tallest solo cup. Is there a chart available for lighting at different stages of plant growth or anything?

Looking good! 4 tubes is good for now, turn more on as the plants grow and spread out. This is what you want with T5s

6-12 inches is good, I’d stay closer to 12 with seedlings. I’d put something under the seedling tray to raise them up and get closer to the light.

Thanks for reply. That’s pretty much how I have them now, so that’s good. I’ll lift the seedlings though, good idea :slightly_smiling_face:
