@Chasworks I did skip the towel, just water soak less than 48hrs, buried it wrong I guess?:man_shrugging::joy:
@Dman1969 maybe so, I hate to have to admit to planter error :joy: but … thinking I just planted wrong, didnt think it mattered all that much … I did drop it in and seen it I bit wonky… but now i definitely know better-- Straighten it out!:man_facepalming::man_facepalming::man_facepalming:

Wow! Thats crazy, i must be lucky because i always just bury 1/4” deep or so! Never was concerned which way the seed landed! :flushed:

Hope they wake up for you. You know if you drop 2 more they all will take off and you’ll be scrambling to make room. Good luck Tom!!!

Once mine harden. I have yet to have one make it. With some luck yours will be different. I always use the rapid rooter plugs. mostly because I did a few test seeds with them vs just in a pot. The plugs always did better. Especially in the seedling stage since they had a little support while they were trying to grow roots.
The up side to the paper towel is you are not left guessing if the seed has cracked yet or not. In a plug. You can lift it out and check to see if it has cracked if it seems like it is taking extra long.

Well , soloooooow going ,I have them outside late today and out for morning light, gonna see if the sun will get them going, they seem to be trying but never had this happen sooo, I’m just gonna do the sun for an couple days if the rain holds off… if not I’ll put them under a LED the one i had on them just wasnt doing it for me, so I’ll use a tent light for them… I just dont want to get to where I put 2 more in and they pop normally do good and then these finally kick… but if I cant save these I will… still hoping

That’s my fear! Cant afford these to not work!:joy: plan is to just have 2 in the 4x4 scrogged so yeah if any take I’m gonna need more room…done 3 the last 2 time , was gonna try one for the 4x4 and try to veg it long enough to fill it, but way too long on patients (6mo veg time :man_facepalming::man_facepalming:) So 2 it is…:joy:

Well, haven’t posted as Life gets in the way sometimes, but not a good start… lost the one that stiffened up, (planted a bit off and couldn’t push thru a 1/2" of soil) got stiff and died… the one in the pic is just SLOW and only one leaf!:man_facepalming: dont know… didnt do anything wrong just seems to not be a strong grower but guess I’ll keep it going just to see…

Going to put 2 more in water as the directions say and try it again… sure hope thes 2 are Strong growers… fingers crossed. Will update again when there sprouted. Man…just no love for me yet on seeds… but I have faith in these.

Thanks Whichhouse, not as bad as some with health issues around, just stuff breaking, not working right, etc. cant seem stay on top of it all lately. Hope the hurricanes stay away as I’m still preparing… :joy: You got you hands full yourselves!! Good Luck on the Openhouse /move …nice to have the stash to help out too! Glad it worked out, now you a reg grower. Grows ONLY get better from here! …well that is… IF you can get a dam seed to stick!! Ohhh… Sry… that’s MEEEeeeee:man_facepalming::man_facepalming::man_shrugging::sunglasses::joy::rofl:
Tent clean, lights cleaned , filter flanges reversed and re hung(should act as a new filter? Or atleast better than last 2 grows, or so I’m told by the mfg). Drain pots with easy out trays this time, scrog all strung and all installed in a sterile 48x48x78. Havent set up the pots yet.

I agree, One should only have t hit so many bumps in the road before things turn for the better. I just recently discovered why my seedlings were struggling so bad. My autos did not like getting fed so early. Photos were fine off the bat. But I started doing my autos the same. I went back to water only for the first 2 weeks. And they look better than ever and are now growing 4 ties as fast
I hope this next set does you good :slightly_smiling_face:
