Super Lemon Haze Harvest

The plants are in week 8 of flower. Most trichomes are cloudy but no amber ones yet. The pistils are all brown/orange.

So the question is: about how much longer to harvest? I was thinking once I started seeing amber trichomes then I’ll harvest them.
Thanks!

Since this is a first grow I have no idea as to the time it will take.

Jewel loop or mag glass. I start checking when I see the pistils turn brown and have almost receded back into the bud :love_you_gesture:

Yup 3 weeks ish

Yup agree with above 2 weeks ish. One of your pics was a sugar leaf try to concentrate your pics right in your bud sights. Sugar leaves will fool you, they still play tricks on me lol. But looking great keep it up

Once you start seeing amber stop ferts and only water with plain ph’d water for another week or 2. It will clean your plant of all the chemicals without having to do a flush. One way to see if the plant is clean is to take a sugar leaf off and put it between your teeth and chew a bit on the stem. If it’s bitter then there are chemicals still in it. If it is tasteless then the plant is clean.

Here we are 2 weeks later. Im getting some canoeing on one plant plus yellow tips on them both. The first trichome photo is the other plant (not canoeing). From what I’ve read the canoeing can be caused by

  • Over watering
  • Too many nutrients
  • Light burn

I water 1/2 gallon every 2-3 days depending on how dry the soil is. I haven’t fertilized in a week. The light is at least 2 feet above the plants. Almost week 10 of flower, no ambers yet. I’m tempted to harvest to avoid any disasters. All comments welcome and thanks to all.

They are looking good. You’re doing the right things. A little yip yellowing is meaningless at this point. How big are the buds i can’t tell from the picture cause i can only see the tops. I have had some plant that never really got amber. They were still killer. Hopefully they are stacking up for you.

The taller buds are about 2” in diameter. They have been bulking up for a few weeks. I actually dried one 2 weeks ago when it broke off and it’s very smooth and does the job.
