I don’t know about gaia green. I only use the fox farm. Normaly I only grow photos. But I am growing 4 autos with it at a 1/4 to 1/2 strength of big bloom and tiger bloom have not used grow big on them. Used fish tank water during veg. On my photos I would give 1/2 teaspoon of grow big at this stage. All is per gallon. Water till run off do not let it set in run off to suck it up. That will cause over watering issues. Only feed when pot is lite.
Hope that helps.
Oh sweet thanks man
thanks man I appreciate all the help
The first thing I noticed is you have this in a cardboard box. That is going to suck out what ever little humidity you may get. Just my o2. But if that is what you are needing to grow in for a bit. It may be worth spending a few bucks on some panda film. To line the inside of the box with. It will also help reflect the light in there. My feelings are you are past the point of return.I hate to say that. But I have had a few start off like this. Never veg that long, while staying that small though. I would try making a dome for it to keep the humidity up.
Now, I am not saying this to be mean here. But at this point. I would just let this go and start another. Do you really want to invest your time and resources into some thing that will give almost nothing back. If this was a photo plant. I would not be saying this as you would have plenty of time to turn things around. You can make a clear dome out of lots of stuff. If you have a dog or can can. That can work. I wish you well with what ever choice you make
Na you’re good man you’re just telling me how it is I appreciate the help I’m growing in the box because I just wanted to test out growing first before I went all in and bought a actual tent but I’ll definitely buy some of that film, I suspected that it was to late so I started germinating a strawberry banana grape banana photoperiod
I feel your pain. Where I live it’s been really hot and very low humidity. My grow room has no air conditioning and like yours it gets in the nineties. I have an auto that is 4 weeks above ground. I’m hoping it will continue to grow before it starts to flower.
Good deal Mike. I just know I would have others point out issues they see as to just telling me things look good. I was fortunate and had 3 of the mods in here as my mentors when I started growing. I know you are just getting started off here. But autos do better in coco or hydro since they grow so fast. @Flitme your grow sounds like my temps here. I average 82 - 88 for all my grows. I started a little one with my veg tent torn down. And was left with humidity like yours. 40% - 50%. And to say the plant hated it was an under statement lol It was a photo fortunately. I gave it to a friend. his place is averaging 70% I wanted a bit of time off
after my last plant was done. About another week or 2 to go Yours looks great. This was mine at 2 weeks old. I was more focused on the plants finishing. So I was running the dehumidifier at night. poor plant was not getting any love I am setting up a small veg tent now. A little 27" x 27" enough to get 9 started with the humidifier in it
I did a strawberry Banana from ILGM. It smelled like bananas while in flower.
Oh yea that’s a tough thing. But I would have taking care of the established plants needs too.
@Flitme Normally I would have. I had kind of lost interest in this one. Mainly because I keep telling my self I need a break. And then drop more beans. One ore week and my last plant comes down I will get a short break before starting some thing new. This one there was not to bad. In a week it should be doing pretty good over at my friends. he has high humidity there all day and night long. I have a bunch of these seeds. So I can do another when i am ready to get back to the seed project But you are right. I should have left this in the nursery bag where I could cover it easier.
This is day day 24 of Cheese Autoflowers and both seemed to be stunted and are showing deformation on the leaves. Temp is at 80 and humidity 45-50% any ideas
I don’t see anything wrong with your plants. They look very good as a matter of fact. Are you letting the soil dry between watering/feeding?
Yes but outside temperature is currently 90 so am keeping the room air conditioned which in turn brings the humidity down aswell as temperature. I had a nutrient burn situation a week ago
I also think they look normal for day 24. One roots establish takes a while they grow faster.
Im using a Vipar spectra p600 and a 200w Full spectrum for 2 plants is that enough?
The p600 from what I just looked at says 90 true watts If the 200 watt is a true 200 watts that is 290 true watts. That should get you thru. A little more could be used but that will work fine I think. Lets ask the pro’s @Low @dbrn32
What’s the name and stats of the fixture, slow growth is usually attributed to light.
Lack of light can make a plant grow at a snails pace with limited stretch. Light just out of reach leads to thin tall stretchy plants.
The most accurate answer to this question would need size of plants to be included. For two small plants this would be pretty reasonable. But if you grow them out large or train plant to extend size of canopy could get a little sketchy. You have enough light to cover +/- 6 square feet of canopy.
