Brewing a tea!
My worm bin/compost isnt ready to pull from or I’d use it instead of store bought worm castings.
I figure i’ll feed it to the girls and my veggies tomorrow and see how they like it. I dont feel confident enough to top dress one more time before harvest.
Day 76 on this push of Autos.
Its been a couple days since I watered with my tea. I waited until last night to water again and absolutely drenched them. Im excited to see how they respond going into next week. So far the tea apears to have made my plants want to pray a little more. My hope is to harvest toward the end of the month or early August and the tea should impart some solid flavors even if it doesnt swell my buds much more.
Come August, I also thing im going to pick up a 3x3 or 4x4 tent. I have so many seeds that I’d like to pop and not enough space!
Anyways, heres some shots of my ladies. I cant get over how purple my PPP is getting. Also, the smell of Purple Kool Aid is dominating the tent.
Hi mate u seem to know your stuff that looks amazing,first time auto grower just wondered if you could give me a little advice on defoliation my plant is 3 weeks old Monday got 4 nodes do i take a few leaves off ready for flowering or keep doing what im doing bending the stems down any help would be much appreciated the little one by the side is my melonade photoperiod

By no means am I an expert grower. I just got back into it after many years and decided to focus on Autos. This is only my second auto grow.
That said, I wouldnt defoliate yet. Instead I’d FIM and gently bend that girl over and pin it down with plant stakes or ties. (FIMing might stunt growth breifly but should multiply potential bud sites.)
Your plants are looking healthy and i’d bet will drop into flower about two weeks from now.
Dont buy into the hype of Autos being fragile. I’ve ABUSED the hell out of mine and they keep trucking along. You just need to keep in mind that they drop into flower when they fill up the pot they’re in or extreme stress ie: under watering, overwatering or absolutely blasting them with light and heat.
Re-visit defoliation after your canopy starts filling in. The more leaves you have, the better for now. You only need to defoliate to promote airflow in the future.

Harvested, washed and hung my buds tonight at day 89.
I did a quick wet trim, just tidying up.
My “skunk” from Fast budz smells like berries and chem.
The Purple Panty dropper is a show stopper. Straight Purple Kool Aid. Sexy fat nugs too.
Pineapple Kushcake doesnt smell special but I like the color and structure.
My Amnesia Jelly is a thick solitary cola that smells like Popsicles.
Im stoked. I have some more Genetics to run through, but can already tell I’ll be growing PPP again, just in a bigger pot.
Everything has been hung up since Thursday. Its all coming together!
I opened the tent today to take a look and my eyes started watering from the Gas/Diesel terps. I’m thrilled!
Did some final trimming today at day 8 of the dry and stuffed my bud into paper bags for a sweat. The humidity here has been crazy! Indoors im around 65%. Outside is 98%. Hopefully it gets my flower to a spot where I can bag/jar it a little faster.
I LOVE HSCs Purple Panty Dropper! The Gassy Grape, the deep wine grape purple, the density of the bud. Its has me fixated like a sexy and dangerous woman. I need to get another tent so I can focus on growing the big plants of strains I feel this way about.
Its killing me! I wish I grew more of the PPP and I’ve already started all new strains!
Attached is a pic. Haven’t weighed it out yet. I will when I jar it. I dont think its more than a half Oz.
Im starting to smell bubble gum on the fast budz skunk… It’s pleasant but man… I was hoping for SOME kind of skunky smell.
On a side note, I decarbed the trim and am freezing it overnight. Im going to run it through a quick cold wash of 170 proof (the only grain alcohol I could find, granted I only went to one liquor store) and plan to add sugar. When all is said and done, the booze and water should evaporate off well enough over low heat to make for a CannaSugar or Syrup.
My goal is to have something that mixes better with black coffee, juice’s and teas, better than the MCT oils I have right now.

Alright, all said and done I was able to fill these two mini jars with Canna-Sugar made from an Oz of trim. I haven’t tried it yet, nor done the math on potency but i suspect a teaspoon will be more than enough. Pretty stoked to have this for warm and cold drinks.
