here’s my setup…2x4 tent with Aero Light SE 200w…i’m currently growing in happy frog soil/ocean forrest. i normally top dress with happy frog 5-7-3 and i’m on Day 30 of flower so i switched to 4-9-3 happy frog Fruit n Flower…i water straight from tap and don’t normally check ph because it hovers around 7.2/ 3-400 ppm..everything was goin well until i got my sample pack from the Jug Dealers Podcast and i added the Plagron Green sensation for PK booster and ended up getting nute lock i think…maybe i’m trippin but i think it is.MY PH OF MY RUNOFF WAS AT 5.2!!!ever since then i been battling with the ph. i started using lime which helped tremendously but even after flushing and all that it’s been fairly difficult…Now my soil is at like 6.3and the run off is at 6.7.I say all that to ask is there more i should do or have i done all that i could…i feel like a 7 or or days of ph problems put me back back lol it could be worse..Can i still see the light at the end of the tunnel or am i still lost so to speak???as for my environment it’s always in range in terms of vpd n all that…i wanna. clarify that im not saying the Jug Dealer products aren’t good,I just know im not doing something right…these were takin right after flushing that’s why you see the water
Well soil PH range is 6.3-6.7 with 6.5 normally being the sweet spot, with that said flushing and waiting it out is about all you really can do, have you been testing run off ? If so do you have them numbers for both PH and PPM.
The good here is that your runoff ph is no longer trending down. The lime is going to buffer towards 7, that’s what you’re seeing. Keep setting ph in low 6’s and you should be golden.
I agree with taking a look at your runoff ppm too. Just in case you stripped most of the nutrients trying to fix ph.
yea that’s what i figured…i been keepin a close eye and i just checked this morning and its a lil bit higher which is good news. Soil is now at 6.6 and i the runoff is right around the same…Big relief
as for ppm of runoff it was around 3200 which is high right but i’ve been told and read around that growing organic will have higher readings and for me that number is good because all my other grows(7 plants) all had ppms in the low 3000s.Please correct me if i’m wrong. While flushing my plant it got to mid 4k so i figured i had fed her too much…ngl i didn’t test my ppm of the Plagron i had added after mixing because i got caught in the ph matrix…so i got caught slipping…my ph of water straight out tap always hovers around 7.3/8 on a bad day and the ppm is always at like 300/maybe 400 at times…
i definitely did and i did re amend without the liquid Plagron…i think ima wait until i get the whole line and run that by itself…why fix something that wasn’t broke right
Ok pH is on track now but as for your ppm being in the 3000s+ in organic I’m gonna have to tag @TrichHunter420 on the ppm situation I’m still in the believing 1000-1700 ppm but hugh85 will know better my GrowBro does organic.
Ill have to respond when i get off at work brother on a roof
