Strain Selection Help Please

Hi all,

I’d like to poll you all for your recommendation for my next grow. I’d like to go with fem photos or regular photos in soil, indoor…small grow 2x2x4.
I’d like to get your selection for the closest strain to the weed my buddies and I used to sit around in the basement blazing to our new Zepplin/Floyd/Robin Trower albums!
Come on…I know you’re out there. You remember the weed you used to take a couple hits from and lean back with that feeling (and look) like you’re hypnotized for 3 minutes until you snap to…catching the drool on your chin before your buddy slapped you in the head laughing??? No idea what it was cuz we didnt give a $hit back then…little punk badasses that we were …

Lol…fire away folks…please? I’m an open book that leans towards Indica :metal:

Hey bud…yeah you think? Like I said white sheet of paper here except for what I read. Sometimes I’d get Indica from the dispensary that wouldn’t be listed as rocket fuel on THC levels but it gave me a real wack in the head …if that make sense? I’m 6’3" 255 and after working all day out in 23° I need my medicine…

A lot of this depends on how terpenes react with body chemistry. THC levels aren’t everything, but it does good for marketing.
I’ve had some flower that LOOKED fire, but just didn’t do it for me. I’ve also had flower that was not dripping with trichomes, but blew my mind.

So just trial and error with good log books then?

That will definitely help. Pay attention to each strain you try, what it smells like, taste, and affects. Keep track of what terpenes are primarily present. Limonene terpene is my favorite, next to citrus smells. Believe it or not you can find mint, vanilla, cinnamon terpenes out there too! Cannabis is a crazy plant when it comes to smells.
