Obviously super subjective. Just had my first autos flip pretty early on me after buying into the beginner friendly marketing and looking to switch to photos.
I was thinking about going with Humboldt Seeds. Looking at the Hella Jelly, Vanilla Frosting, and Humboldt Dream strains.
I like heavy head high, body effects and THC percentage but like to avoid couch lock. That said I can be very active on strains like gorilla glue and love the taste of a little skunk or gas.
@MedLifeCrisis I grew some feminized seeds from Royal Queen Seeds last year, the strain was Fat Banana. Very easy to grow, big fat buds, and high THC.
Was it flavor of Bud structure that gave it the name?
It was a little bit fruity with some good skunk smell. I only have 3/4 oz. left. If I knew I would like it as much as I did, I wouldn’t have let the kids clean me out!
Look for the terpine profile when you’re researching strains if they have it. They play the major part in the effects you’re looking for. I have some that I tested at 18% with great terpine profiles that can lock you down 
I’ve been reading some on terpenes and trying to nail this down. I like myrcene, linalool, and limonene strains usually I think. I also recently got some deep breath at a dispo when they were out of what I was looking for though and it had perfect effects. Not sure if it was the pinene or caryophyllene.
I like rich flavor and heavy effects. It takes a lot to get me actually couch locked, so just avoiding extreme strains of that and of the other end with anxious/paranoid sativa effects. Typically 25% plus THC to feel effects even though I get that’s basically like saying a percentage alcohol without specifying the proof. I’m looking for the moonshine of strains with a relatively high tolerance.
If that helps at all I would be super interested to hear any recommendations on strains or terpene profiles to look at.

A fellow grower horsetraded me for some Hindu Kush. Not all bred out…almost pure. THAT shit is out of this world. Thc maybe 20. The effects are my perfect gaming high with good pain med for our medical circle. The 1 i grew as an experiment and test harvested 3 weeks ago determined my next clone runs. I did a gg4 which was good for 2 years but could get locky. Way overpowered.
I saw some Hindu Kush that looked really good from Dr. Seeds I think. They also had a holy grail strain that seemed like maybe a similar blend. I agree on the glue. I may just love the taste and smoke too much but it can get me locked down at times.
GSC or Northern lights may work for you Growmie
I’ve heard great things about the Hindu Kush. I’ve had it in the shopping cart of a few banks/breeders and never get around to pulling the trigger. Supposedly a great hash plant
Thanks! I’ve had northern lights in the past and liked it a lot. Felt like I maybe got a little anxious/paranoid from the supposed strain of it I had way back in the day. I’ll look more into it though. GSC had been back and forth on my maybe list for sure, any recommendations on best GSC seed out there?

I have noticed @MedLifeCrisis that less interbred strains tend to give better overall cannabis effects. Just me. Super crossed for thc seems to leave out some goodness.
Durban Poison. Str8 up is a good one. Rock hard nugs, great daytime, work type feeling. Great for pain also.
Nice, I actually got some free autos of Durban Poison with my seed order. I’ll definitely include them in the outdoor grow next season to give it a try.
