I think they liked the cal-mag. Newer growth is noticeably darker on all. The little nodes are liking the new light with FIM/topping and LST.

This is all they have grown since Feb 11. Super slow. Early on I set a filp date between April 2-9, and harvest deadline of June 18.
Flip day is fast approaching, so I hope those little branches grow quickly so I can flip already.

Branches are growing now. I topped the plants that I FIMed earlier. Not sure if FIMing actually did anything other than trim the leaves. I f’ing missed the FIM! Lol. Now that there’s no more vertical growth, they are focusing on growing those branches into colas. I see 6-8 branches per plant. Might yank the runt, or I might buy a 1x1 light to fill the tent. We will see. Need to flip within a week to maintain my schedule.
Small light is there for heat. Gotta find a source for night heat as the low temp is 62 at night.

Watered yesterday. Continuing to LST/tuck. Counting 8-10 potential colas per plant. Added an old blurple light to the tent this morning for kicks. Didnt add much to my DLI, around 31, but may add some more spectrum. Cant hurt!

Brought lights down. DLI now at 41.
The Gelato sale was too good to pass up, so got the 10+10 autos. Also got 10 gold leaf fem seeds in the deal. 30 seeds that I know what to expect! Glad I got some fem seeds as I want to try cloning one day. Saw one dude here cloned out 3 plants to make 15. Talk about cost effective!
I realized the humidity rises up to over 70% at night, so I put a mini dehumidifier in the tent this morning. Should help rise the night temps too. Need another timer so it turns on at night. Humidity is in the 40s during the day.
The reservoir needs to be manually emptied, so thats a drawback.

Flipping tonight, giving me 75 days until my hard chop date of June 18. Did some trimming the other day to expose potential colas.
Also doing some experiments for myself. These are from unknown bag seeds, so I’m playing with them to see what happens. Likely will grow seeds due to them likely being hermie seeds, but want to see how they react. I topped most of the colas from one a few days ago, and did major defol on another, which was the runt anyway. Trying to answer some of my own questions from seld experience before starting real grows with my ilgm gelato fem auto and gold leaf fem photo seeds!
How much does clipping a fan leave slow its branch growth
What about trimming all the main fan leaves
What happens when you top and flip same/next day
Etc. So here we go!
Will see if these are females or not soon enough.

Well, I thought I flipped monday night, but I put it on 24 hours instead. Set timer to ‘on’ instead of ‘auto on’ and there ya go. Doh! So we’ve had some nice growth this week… did some trimming and more LST to spread out the colas and expose bud sites. The top left is a major bush and has more tops than I had time to count lol. Even the runt (bottom left) is looking great. The one I topped last weekend (bottom right) has a ton of growth too. Still not sure if theyre the same or different strains, but that one is growing so bushy!
I set up a screen and its ready to go. Had some extra 2"×3" rubber coated wire fencing so I cut it to fit. I figure I should let them stretch a bit then introduce the screen. Theyre all still so close to the dirt lol.

These are all in a 2x4 tent. Is it worth continuing with all or is it better to remove one? I figure I should wait until they show sex sometime hopefully next week now that I am actually flipping the lights lol. Did I just answer my own question? Wait and see…
If I could choose now, I’d pull the 3rd one here. 4th is the best!
Thanks for the love @BudzMS! I have 20 ILGM Gelato auto and 10 Gold Leaf Fem Photo seeds coming tomorrow! Got my eye on the HLG 260W XL RSPEC light kit for my next batch. Seems very worth it to get the right light for my tent. Especially with the real, known seeds.
Getting a vivoson 4" fan with carbon filter for exhaust. I think that’ll be fine for the 2x4.
Back to here. Would like to end up with 3 max in here.
Gotta wait for these to show their sex parts, but shouldn’t they be feminized? If I got seeds from nugs, those were female plants. If the parent hermied thru stress and made seeds, I assume these should be female, perhaps with hermie traits?

thats a great light, i have 2 of them in my 4x4 tent now. i am not sure if they will be feminized but just keep checking to make sure
Ok i did it. I pulled 2 out, kept the best 2 and watered. Was getting crowded in here. They look like different strains to me. Both are showing their lady parts. Started the screen to help spread them out. Now a week after flip. They look a bit beat up after laying the screen on them and pushing them around but will bounce back quickly.
The two I pulled looked good but werent showing any female parts yet and were both smaller than these.

I got a vivosun 4" in-line fan with carbon filter today along with some small USB fans to keep the air flowing. Humidity coming up to 60% at night so i want to reducs. Carbon filter because its starting to smell a little.
The girls look great, showing lots of cute little buttons 16 days after flip. I’m amazed at how short they are staying. Not much of a stretch yet. Not sure if its the proximity of the light(s) at 14", but DLI 12-hour period is only 25-35 at this height… as long as they’re happy.
