Sterilizing left over FFOF soil?

hello! my friend had a leftover bag of FFOF soil that was open and left outside for a few months. should i sterilize the soil? or just deal with bugs IF they pop up? i dont wanna kill all the good stuff in the soil but also dont want bugs… i do have nutrients to add. as well as ph supplies and mykos fungi i can add to the soil

Why not? You can add it all back in.

If you don’t want anything to live in it then microwave it

is microwaving less smelly than the oven?

Lol I’m not sure.

I just know what microwaves do to biology so I recommended it. Never done it myself
