Ive never had this problem with all the seedlings before. Have seen it happen to maybe 1 or 2 seedlings, but not all. Its got to be a lighting issue right? The seem to be trying to position themselves under certain LEDs. They are in my aerogarden until they get big enough to transfer to my main system.
Sidenote: this is my first experience with ilgm seeds. Got the 30 pack of the beginner mix. Planted 2 white widow, 1 bubble gum, and 1ak47. All but the ak47 popped withon 24 hours. Planted a 2nd ak47 and it popped in under 24 hours. The 1st ak started opening but for whatever reason cannot get a tap root started. Either way, great job ILGM. Will be using you exclusively, going forward!
Both great ideas. Thank you. Cant lower the light anymore, but paper clips and spinning the pods will definitely help. Ideally would like to keep them in the aero another week, but i may have to transfer them early. Need them to get big enough that i can fit that orange collar around them and still have the roots poking out the bottom.
Do what I do: take a toilet paper roll, cut it in half, and use it as a crutch! Lifts right up safely when the plant is old enough. Mind you, this was taken under very subpar lighting, which I believe contributed to the stretching.
