Beginner help please

This is my first time to try with all the equipment for indoor grow. I have only had success so far with 5 ak47 plants. They are doing really good. However, I did another order for the same mix pack with the white widow, bubble gum, ak47and I have yet to be able to get any of the others to germinate. I am using the exact same method fo them all. I’m getting very discouraged with the white widow and the bubble gum. I’ve not gotten a single one to germinate. Yes, I used the method in the grow bible. Any help would be great. Thank you

Just so there’s not any confusion, what exactly did you do throughout germination process?

Yes these seeds are from ILGM, I began with soaking the seeds for 24 hours and then placed them in soil. I’ve kept the soil moist (not wet) they have been in a warm sunny location for almost 2 weeks and still nothing. I did this exact method with the ones that are now in veg doing really good.

I just put them in a clear plastic cup in water in a dark space For three to five days max. It’s a bit 80/20 percent where they all germinate but 80% are out strong with a main tap root ready to be plugged in. I just use the coco Pete sealing pods and and hot water so they expand. Let it cool down to room temp and plunge a hole with a pencil. Then delicately use a pair of tweezers to plant the tap root in first. I generally never grab the white part of the root but up towards the green stem. They can be a bit bouncy and curly but with care they propergate immediately.

My White Widows (ILGM) were showing tiny tails after a 24 hour soak, in the dark, in RO water at a pH of 5.8. Then they went into a damp paper towel, placed in a Zip Lock bag in the dark. 48 hours later the trails were about an inch long so the went into peat pots.

I just put seeds yesterday in damp paper towel in a small dish and covered with Saran Wrap then wrapped in dark towel.
Put them on top of stereo amp and 19 hrs later all are cracked with tips sticking out. :+1:
Has worked for me for last 15 yrs.
Hope this helps some. :wink::v:

Custard cup of distilled water and a teaspoon of peroxide. Leave in warm dark place until seed cracks then plant in media.

I also don’t plant them until they crack. How deep in soil did you put them?

I have 3 seeds that I placed in soul over a week ago and none of them have come up. I just barely covered them with soil. I have 5 other seeds that I have been trying to germinate now for a week and none of them have cracked open at all. In the past my other ones would have a good strong taste root after a couple days. I’m beginning to wonder if something isn’t wrong with this batch of seeds.

Not sure. Like I said, I don’t usually plant them until they already have a tail
