So are you just not using the exhaust fan then? Or is the fan too small? You have a nice fan. It should suck in fresh low rh air at a good enough clip to control tent rh…wondering why your struggling with high rh in low rh environment.
I do have the fan set to only turn on when the temp reaches 82. Auto settings for high humidity are off. I’ll be changing that tonight
Anyone familiar with this theory?
It’s very basic, established science Re: humidity/temps. Google will give you ample information.
Do you have a specific question?

I found some stuff for this if you need it and ill go over what you need…

You need to set the exhaust fan to run all the time, can’t have it cycling off for the night time as that is just asking for WPM (anytime) and bud rot in flowering. Set your high humidity to 60 so it stays under that at all times or set fan to run all the time.
Doesn’t your exhaust fan run Durring lights off? It should be venting the humidity outside…
Also stoked! I have some gorrila cookies fast buds wants me to grow out to get some pictures and a grow journal for them, and have yet to grow it yet. I just dropped gorilla glue of theirs as well as Jack here auto freebie from a seed bank and finally 2 gdp autos from msnl
Can’t wait to see!
Hey guys, my trip is coming up this Friday and the Plants are getting pretty tall. Tallest is 25inches from the soil. My tent is 80inches tall but I’m figuring I’ll need about 30inches space for the light and inline fan.
Should I consider flipping right before I leave? Maybe just put in the SCROG net now and bend some nodes over? Or do I have still have some grow space to leave them be?
Here’s a pic of the girls right now. Still no signs of males, all healthy. Except the one in the bottom right corner that is looking a little droopy up top this morning.
Also, I have gotten control of my humidity issue. Then to help even more I got my Controller67 in yesterday, and I can’t say how much I love this thing ![]()

You will have to adjust this for your circumstances. It allows for 100% stretch after flip. 34" available for plants requires flip at 17".
Assuming 30" includes canopy clearance, plants are 25", 11" allowance for pots gives you 66" of the 80" tent height is already used leaving 14" for additional plant growth. Not sure what you are growing and how much they will stretch. You are going to have some BIG girls.
I usually flip when they are 12-14" with heavy LST. I have also moved exhaust fan and filter outside of the tent in case of emergency.
Not a bad idea, can keep them from getting too tall as we don’t know how much they will stretch in flowering.
Beardless posted a good bit of info that grow weed easy has put out with that image. I’m gonna steal. It as I seem to have lost it.
A scog net may help but how long are you gone again? That stretch is gonna be a handful. You really need to be there for the flip to keep lights low and move them daily.
If you raise them then that increases stretch…
I would top them today and let them stretch on Friday after you toss a net on top and turn your lights up to full power yet put them as high to the roof as possible. It’s still gonna be a messy handful lol
Is that where I stole it?
Seems like I’ve been gone forever ![]()
Well I came back to a challenge that’s for sure.
The plants were all drooping when I came back Monday night. They were still green and the leaves were soft so i tried not to worry too much. Watered them and they bounced back the next day
Under the canopy was a complete jungle. Actually the whole tent has been a complete jungle, but I’ve really been exhausted since I’ve been back so my attention hasn’t been there like it shoulda been. I finally got to defoliate tonight though. Now the top of the canopy is looking better but it looks like some leaves are flopped over, maybe trying to run from the light? I raised my light enough for the closest leaves to be 18inches from the light. They were almost at 13 smh. I’m definitely going to flip to flower this weekend. Just trying to get them on a healthy streak. Any advice on how to further maintain these tall girls?
Sorry i didn’t give a more in detail update. I feel like I’m still mentally recovering from vaca ![]()
Glad they survived had me a bit worried
I finally set up my HLG 600 today and plan on flipping on the 1st. Am I correct that all I’ll have to do is switch the light schedule? I don’t see any way that I can change the light setting besides the dimmer
Currently I have it set to 50% (300w I believe) since I wanted to ease them into the new light. Was going to go 100% as long as all looked good
Switching from a 600w mh bulb
Any advice is appreciated
Pretty hard to over due it on LED’s.
Although since it’s an HLG you can use a LUX calculator on your phone to find the pffd and that will give you a much better idea of what you want it tuned at.
Google
HLG LUX to pffd calculator.
Then you can re google DLI converter
Yep just change light schedule and get to flowering.
First day of 12/12
Exfoliated the F outta the girls, somehow think I could have taken more off but didn’t want to go too crazy. They’re looking a little droopy rn but it’s the time they usually go into dark so I’m guessing they’ll need time to adjust to the new light schedule?
I also gave them their first dose of Flower Fuel along with the regular feeding of Jacks 321
Cranked up the light a little. I think it’s maybe a click or 2 from 100%
Trying to keep the temp above 80° which is what I read is best temp when using LED. But I have a couple doors cracked to help with humidity. The dehumidifier I had wasn’t cutting it so I returned it and going to order a better one today
