Spider mites HELP

So I’ve begun dealing with thrips and haven’t seen thwn sense i sprayed with Captin Jacks dead bug brew well this morning I was looking over one of my gurls thats week 4 in flower and low and behold I come across a spider mite I refuse to use neem oil especially sense im in flower but I also own 4 dogs and reptiles so anything non pet friendly is immediately out of topic for use need big help mind you this is also my 1st grow all insight and help is appreciated

As far as I know, the Captain Jack’s should kill spider mites. @Covertgrower may have better information to share with you.

Purchase the concentrated refill. You’ll need it. You can mix it a little on the rich side, and it’ll be more effective. I don’t recall the spider mite life cycle at the moment, but I recommend minimum of every 3 days between applications.

I believe that the spider mite life cycle is between 10 and 21 days depending upon the specific species. Eggs hatch in about three days.

I have almost a whole bottle still of the ready to spray formula should i just go a bit heavy on the spray and then every few days for how long also I’ve heard captain Jack’s if ok to spray on the flowers up to a few days before harvest is this true?

Good luck. I dealt with thrips on my last grow and almost never got rid of them. Keep on your Deadbug treatments. I’ve gotten to where I spray everyone with a little Deadbug occasionally even if I don’t see anything, just to be proactive.

Yeah I treated my clones as well as put there tent in a different room to quarantine them they are taking to it awesomely and flourishing like crazy haven’t spotted anything yet on them my 2 girls in flower atm that I originally found the pest on looks like some more leafs looked chewed on over night possibly unless I missed them yesterday when looking and removing leafs but ill stay consistent with my applications and hope for the best
