Speedrun seeds, Acid Snow, anyone?

I purchased some seeds from Speedrun seeds.
Found a generous surprise, a nice number of freebies.

The strain is Acid Snow. Anyone have any reviews?

Saw @DevanGuy56288 started some a few weeks ago…

Hello :waving_hand:

I have a “Acid Snow” and a “Blappleberry Haze” going at the moment. 27 days old.
The Acid Snow is pre flower been pre flower for past 2-3 days. It’s small, I stunted it I guess. Lots of new growth after transplant though so may have been the crazy temperatures ive been having. Kissing 80f ass and I have no ac.
The Blappleberry Haze is not in pre flower yet still vegging out. I’d imagine anytime now it will start pre flower. That one is bigger and I have that one on a self watering wicked base.
Feels like my first grow, stunting autos and wondering…. I may pull the acid snow, or just let it sit around

Thank you for the reply.

Are you sure you stunted it, or could it have been shakey genetics?
I’m curious, what did you do that lead you to believe you stunted it?

I start my seedlings in solo cups, and want to make sure I didn’t make the same error?

I don’t know about the genetics for ninjas never run it. But reading the description on the website I was very excited. I’ve seen other growers with great results.

I transplanted from solo cups. Used Bigfoot Mycorrhizae. Growth after transplant as you can see. But then just stopped!
I was having difficulty with some inconsistent high and low temperatures. They are 28 days today.
Just got back into the tent after a while. I was still super green before when I had to stop so I’m sure it’s user error or my inability to maintain a consistent environment. I don’t have ac and in a hot state and had temps in the 80s last week. Week before mid 60s.
The other SpeedRun, “Blappleberry Haze” is the same age and slowed down as well. I did top that one though.

For being stunted and small it sure is happy praying all the time. Kind of makes me not want to pull it….

Even after a trim

Question.

Was that Acid Snow a freebie seed?

All the Speedrun :beans: I got for free.
Acid Snow, Blappleberry Haze, Grand Exchange, and Pound Dawg.

Do you think the reason she might be stunted is because she was a freebie?

I pay attention to things. And I’ve noticed the “for pay” seeds often seem to grow much better than the freebies. Coincidence?

It could just be my vivid imagination? I’ve been growing awhile, and like to think I do ok.
But the last couple times I’ve had miserable failures, was when I was trying to grow a freebie. Ymmv

I can’t really agree with that because this is my first time running these genetics. Also the were all free. I’ve seen others with great success and outcomes with Speedrun so I’m not too worried about their genetics.

Yea, you’re probably right.

I was just tossing it out there, since my last two freebies failed, and I couldn’t figure out why?
I’m kinda looking forward to growing the Acid Snow. Also it’s going to be the maiden voyage for my new Autopot system!

I just got back into the tent after a long hiatus. Like I’m brand new. I most likely fucked it up . Inconsistent temperature fluctuations here in northern Az at the start of their early life most likely stunted it. But with that being said the other Kong Breath and Blappleberry haze germinated same time broke ground same time and have been in the same tent just like the Acid snow.
I was very excited about the Acid Snow. Especially reading the description on the website. “Vigor” well not in my tent lol.
You’ll crush it with a autopot system. I have a dwc bucket but didn’t want to break it out just yet.
I struggle with my environment. I don’t have AC so that start of life with the temperatures going crazy low then crazy high think may have helped the stunt to.

@Beard-O check out my Acid Snow. 60 days from sprout. Hoping to get it going at least 5 more days. Checking trichomes tonight after lights back on.
How is yours doing?

The Speedruns website says it’s a 65-75 day plant I think. Hoping for at least 70 days. I’m so happy I didn’t pull her.

Interested to see and hear how yours is doing. Do you have more than one going?
